I booked this experience for my adopted daughter to learn how to cook recipes from her birth culture, and we had the best time! The company communicated well and met us at our hotel right on time. Our translator Mango was excellent, very kind and knowledgeable. We took some great pictures visiting the local market and then were taken to a clean, bright and well-equipped kitchen for a personal cooking class with a dedicated chef. With Mango translating, we had no trouble at all following along to make, plate, and taste three delicious Cantonese dishes. The business hosting the cooking class also offered a fun opportunity to dress-up in historical costumes and have your picture taken (an activity trending for young Chinese women these days). My daughter decided to try it out, and Mango worked with us and the business to make sure we'd be able to get a ride back to the hotel since we extended our visit, and she was needed at another appointment. A+ perfect execution and follow through. Highly recommend!
