What To Expect
Learn how to cook the most authentic Italian dishes in the heart of the sorrento peninsula. Located in the middle of Sorrento peninsula, in a hidden heaven, lies a spectacular scenario. A fisherman village, hidden by the charming boats of the mediterraneo, front sea located. An authentic location and a family run activity where you'll join us for a one-of-a-kind culinary experience. Here is the true zero-kilometer food concept: focuses on the importance of seasonal and local ingredients you will find products cultivated on site, direct from the house garden, and brought fresh to the table at every meal. A sensory overload for all. That's why the day will start at the garden, where you will learn how pick the best products for your class and see how the locals do their daily meals. Once we have all the ingredients, our hands-on experience begins! What to expect: ⁃ meet and great at the private family garden with visit and refreshment (garden products are available according to season) ⁃ move to the venue where the cooking class will take place. here will start the real fun. ⁃ Lunch with starter, hand made first plate and dessert.

5.00We had a great time at this cooking class! The family garden is beautiful and it was so fun to see how they transform all of their homegrown food. Knowing it was their family garden made the whole experience feel authentic. The cooking class was lots of fun and we learned so much! Great hospitality and experience. This meal was one of our favorites from our whole trip! The class was a short drive from Sorrento but we loved getting to see the smaller more local town! I highly recommend this class!

5.00My mother and I had an absolutely lovely cooking class today with a new cooking company, Cooking Mama. They are based in the little town of Piano di Sorrento, which was a 15 minute ride by train or taxi from Sorrento. You start with a tour of their garden, then walk a few minutes to their private kitchen right on the water. It is out of the way of tourists, and this young couple absolutely loves what they do. They were so hospitable, we had so much fun cooking, eating, drinking, and getting to know Andrea and Salvatore!! Highly recommend booking with them for an intimate and personal experience.

Before we began cooking we took a tour of their fabulous garden with all of the fresh ingredients we would be using to cook. We learned some great cooking techniques and then got to enjoy a tasty lunch of all that we made. I would highly recommend this wonderful experience!

5.00Absolutely fantastic. From the garden to the kitchen, even got to meet the garden pups. Very easy to follow instructions, learned some fine details you can't pick up in a cookbook, made new friends, and ate quite possibly the best meal I have eaten in all of Eataly. :) Highly recommend!

5.00We had a great experience! The garden tour has made me rethink my vegetable patch at home! Andrea and Salvatore provide a friendly, easy experience and the pasta we made from scratch is something my 21 year old son thinks he'll make occasionally with his roommates- This is a win for sure! The best part though was the meal they had prepared for us with our pasta and tiramisu - eggplant Parmigiano, zuchini from their garden - fresh, homemade, the epitome of Italian home food. And their homemade limoncello - was so delicious, I was disappointed they didn't have a bottle I could buy! Well done Anrea and Salvatore! 5.00We had an excellent experience - the service was friendly, Salvatore was an excellent teacher and the food was fantastic. Everyone left excited to make their own pasta at home! My only concern was the walking - a member of our group has some mobility issues, and I didn't realize when we booked that we would have to walk from the garden to the kitchen. It's not far, and the scenery is breathtaking, but it was unexpected for us. Also, there is a cost to use the elevator to the kitchen - it's only one euro per person, but be prepared with cash for the trip back!
