5.00We had a delightful day with Robin! We were in contact beforehand to arrange what we would most like to see and Robin arranged this into the day in a logical sequence and so things never felt rushed. It was a great way to see viewpoints and places we couldn’t have managed alone. We saw: - the giant Buddha - lotus pond / tiger and dragon pavilion - amazing beef noodle lunch - the dagan bridge swing open at 3pm - pier 2 area - monkeys on monkey mountain - viewpoint across the city from high point - view across the harbour from Xiziwan

4.00Nice tour from Robin covering all the things we wanted to see. Most official and commercial signs were also in English. Robin’s English was ok. As we had temporary mobility problems. Robin was superb in limiting the waking I had to do. He even found a wheelchair for me on our biggest tour site - wonderful.

5.00Charlie is an excellent tour guide and great driver. He is passionate for his town and his country. Well versed on historical culture as well as Geological history. He explained the Buddhists spirit of calmness and acceptance and rituals. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Charlie

5.00Had a great day with Aaron. He contacted us in advance with clear meeting instructions and was friendly and informative throughout. He spoke excellent English and gave us so much information on Kaohsiung and Taiwan. We managed to fit a lot into a few hours and he dropped us back to our cruise ship in plenty of time. He also sent us photos that he'd taken throughout the day. We would highly recommend Aaron for a Kaohsiung tour.

5.00Ting Ting was fabulous. She was already there when we got off the ship and from that point she handled everything perfectly. She got us back to the ship exactly as we requested. If there was a way to select the local guide I would definitely ask for her.

Fun Kaohsiung Tour with Robin

5.00Robin was an excellent and fun guide. He drove and accompanied us to the Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum which was magnificent and included a little calligraphy and tea sampling. We continued to the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas on Lotus Pond where he let us explore for around an hour. Afterwards, he dropped us off at the Pier 2 Art Center to explore on our own for around an hour. Then he brought us to Shoushan Love Lookout for some photos (and monkey viewing). Finally, the last stop was for The Dome of Light at Fermosa Boulevard MRT station. Robin also brought us to one of his favorite beef noodle places for lunch. It was a fun day. Robin was very interactive with us, especially when walking us though the Buddha monastery and explaining all pertinent details, and also took some great pictures for us. Communication wasn't difficult, and we also enjoyed talking about American sports with him. Thanks, Robin!

The tour itself was well planned and gave a great opportunity to learn about Kaohsiung and the surrounding area. The day went by fast and I enjoyed every minute. Thank you so much!
