  We had a wonderful time with Suresh de Silva. He drove us around and knew all the places, even the secret ones. We went from the airport to the north, the midlle and around. He knows all the good hotels, depanding on your budget. Hè didnt go to any places he could get commision. Hè is a official guide. We arranged a fair price! An unforgettable tour!!   We had amazing tour with our guide and driver W.M. Nandana for 8 days in Sri Lanka. His driving was perfect and always smiling and explaining about various culture to us. His time keeping was excellent and it was a joy to have him as our guide/driver.

  We booked a tour in Sri Lanka through Lankaland travels .. and we were so glad that the Amila joined with us as a tour guide for entire journey.. He is professional in his work and gave us an amazing experience in srilanka🇱🇰. we have been with him in Sigiriya , Kandy , Nuwara Eliya, Ella , Yala , Mirrissa and Colombo. He has a good knowledge about the insides and speak fluent English as well. We have just paid 800 USD per person entitled for Hotel stay, and transportation with meals which is amazing price for a week. We have no hesitation to recommend him to all of you to get unforgettable experience in Srilanka!! We would like to wish him a wonderful future .   My husband and I had a really fantastic time in Sri Lanka. We asked the company for a custom trip. We spend there 13 days in total and everything was well organized by the company. They offered us an amazing driver who is called Deesa. We couldn't expect such a great guide. Not only as a profesional, also as a person. He helped us with everything and I have to say that we became very good friends. For sure we recommend Vio Hollidays! Don't forguet to choose Deesa as a driver! :)

  Exciting experience! Sri Lanka thrilled us in every aspect: naturalistic, cultural and culinary and we also owe this to VH Tours.   We booked a trip from 15 Aug to 1 Sept with VioHolidays for three people (me, my husband, and a friend). I reached out to Nimesha (a friend gave me her contact info) with our desired itinerary & she was very quick to assist in making the most of our time. She gave us many recommendations for additional stops & activities or things we could skip, it was very nice to be able to pick & choose with the help of a local. Communication was very smooth even prior to arriving. We chose to have the first half of the trip pretty heavy with sightseeing and activities & the last part being more relaxed alone time in the seaside areas. Once we arrived we met our main driver for the following 9 days, Asanka. He was absolutely wonderful - friendly, knowledgeable, funny, and overall a fantastic driver & tour guide. We got everywhere we needed to be with safety and efficiency all while learning about Sri Lankan culture. We loved that the price included all entrance fees for activities - Asanka was always quick to retrieve tickets & made the trip that much more relaxing for us. He really made our trip special. Our other drivers were all great as well. For anyone thinking of using this company, I would just say to skip the safari in Minneriya (Udawalawe is much better) as it was very rushed, nothing was explained, and most of all it was extremely crowded with people & cars, so much so that we worried for the well-being of the animals. Also, skip the bull-driven cart at the Sigiriya Village Tour, there is no reason to include this. The price is not cheap, however, with the inclusion of all of the activities that we did (including 2 safaris), gas, tolls, multiple drivers, etc we felt that it was still very fair considering we had a stress-free vacation. We will be recommending VioHolidays to friends who will be visiting Sri Lanka in January!

  I got contacted by Nimesha a while ago on Instagram, regarding my travels to Sri Lanka. She created several tour packages for me, which after doing research, were hideously expensive. After refusing several times, we finally came down to a number that was more realistic. So I agreed. She made an itinerary for the first 9 days of our trip. Upon arrival our driver was waiting at the airport. He was friendly. After relaxing in Negombo for the first day, he took us on the trip. We quickly noticed that his English was rather poor. My partner and I had many questions regarding live in Sri Lanka, the culture etc. To many he didn’t/ couldn’t answer or only replied yes. We were surprised that as a licensed guide/driver you could have such poor knowledge of your own country and culture. The first day we had quite a long drive ahead and he stopt at several tourist trap locations, for example a buffet restaurant that costs more then 10€ per person… only because he would get a free meal… the days after we’ve asked him to take us to more authentic restaurants for lunch, but of course he didn’t know where. We made stops at silk shops, spice gardens, and what not. Only because he would get commission over the things we would buy there, which we of course didn’t do. It made us feel like a very expensive taxi service and a tourist trap in once. The remaining 2 weeks of our trip we’ve traveled without driver/guide and honestly it’s so much better! You meet friendly locals who help you and experience the real Sri Lanka. Hotels are more than happy to arrange taxi services which are way way cheaper! I would not recommend this to company and their service to friends or family.

  A dream trip! We visited Sri Lanka together with Dilip, a special boy who allowed us to live a unique experience, showing us every part of the island with an always enthusiastic attitude. Sri Lanka is experiencing a period of economic crisis and needs tourism, so I suggest you choose it as your next destination and, to make the trip unique, absolutely be accompanied by Dilip. Thanks for everything!!!

  Our trip to Sri Lanka was magnificent, with the help of the VIO staff we built a fantastic itinerary off the beaten track. The added value of the tour was definitely our legendary driver Dilip, always attentive and present for anything. He is also a nice guy and can drive very well even on the worst roads.
