5.00Had a great day with Paulo enjoying the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, and the surrounding areas. Pick up was right at our cruise ship and on time. Paulo made sure we had time for pictures, shopping, food and drinks. We had 5 people in a very nice Mercedes van with plenty of room. Company was great and he answered all of our questions and held a great conversation. Didn’t know what to expect when booking and we are sure glad we did this. I can’t recommend this excursion enough. Book it and ask for Paulo!

5.00We had one day to visit the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. Paulo greeted us as we got off the ship and was very personable and informative. He dropped us off at three or four different locations to take pictures and to explore as much of the area as possible.

5.00Our driver Paulo had the perfect mix of knowledge, driving skills and humor to make our day a memorable one. We tour the coast and surrounding small towns and then went on to Pompeii. Trust me when I say a good driver is important on the winding, narrow (very narrow), and steep roads we encountered. We loved listening to Paulo’s stories mixed in with his knowledge of the area. Francesco, the guide that Positano Imperial hooked us up with for our Pompeii portion of the tour, was beyond knowledgeable. Thank you Paulo and Positano Imperial for making our day at the Amalfi Coast a truly memorable experience!

5.00We had the best day ever touring the Amalfi Coast/Pompeii with our tour guide, Paolo. He was on time, easy to find after we got off the ship. He was very engaging and personable. On our way to the Amalfi Coast, Paolo shared with us the history of his beloved hometown, Napoli. He also told us about his family and what day-to-day life is like there. When we arrived in a small town called Minori on the Amalfi Coast. We stopped at a pastry shop called Sal De Riso. Paolo recommended we try a dessert called “Delizia”, a mini sponge cake filled with lemon cream soaked in limoncello syrup and topped with a lemon flavored glaze. It was an amazing dessert and definitely worth the calories. The shop also had a large selection of other desserts. From there, Paolo took us to Ravello where we visited “Villa Rufolo,“ a 13th century villa with stunning views and gardens overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. In the afternoon we had a scheduled tour of Pompeii with an archaeologist. Paolo dropped us off and we agreed on a specific meeting time. We had to cut the tour short to meet him on time. We would recommend giving yourself at least 3 to 4 hours to enjoy Pompeii. Paolo took us to lunch at one of his favorite pizza restaurants near Pompeii. After lunch we made our way back to the ship with plenty of time to spare before leaving Napoli. Choosing a private tour is the best way to travel. It is definitely more expensive but it’s worth the cost. We highly recommend Paolo as your tour guide when you visit Napoli. He was the best guide we’ve ever encountered.

5.00Wonderful experience Vincent did an outstanding job taking us along the Amalfi coast. Made reservations on the fly for lunch in Amalfi. And did this all on very short notice when our original tour with another operator became a problem.
