Walk along the shore lined by 34 huge granite eggs which represent the eggs of each of the nesting birds in this area, many of which are migrating birds, flying over to Iceland from far away to lay their eggs in Iceland.

5.00It was raining heavily in the morning from the beginning of the tour. We thought the day would be ruined completely. But our guide, Einar, gave his great effort and made the day so memorable for us. He was warm, funny, considerate of our needs throughout—both through anticipated stops for viewpoints and restrooms and by checking in with us constantly. We ended up having a wonderful day and one of the highlights of our trip to Iceland. Thank you, Einar.
