What To Expect
Blue Grotto Il-Hnejja
Whatever time of year you happen to visit, a boat ride through these marvellous caves is a voyage you’re unlikely ever to forget. With phenomenally clear blue waters, resulting from its unique chemical composition of minerals, visibility within the caves is truly second to none. And if visited in sunny weather, colourful pink, orange, turquoise and green hotspots can be seen reflecting magically off the water onto the limestone walls of the caves. If viewed from the cliffs above, the caves appear framed by a majestic arch, and with unobstructed views of the island of Filfla, it is truly a sight to behold.
Valletta
Often described as an open-air museum and a living piece of history, Valletta’s streets and sights will have you wandering around to marvel at all its beauty. The Baroque architecture adorns all corners of the small city, and there are plenty of historical buildings to admire. Though the city was built on a peninsula of only 1km by 600m, Europe’s southernmost capital is abundant in historical sights. UNESCO described Valletta as “one of the most concentrated historic areas in the world” when it named Valletta a World Heritage Site. You will find some of Europe’s finest artworks, churches and palaces in Valletta.

5.00Perfect day with Justin. We spent four hours exploring Malta with Justin as our driver. It was easy to communicate with Justin via What's App before our tour. We met up with Justin outside the port gates and were off on our tour. Since our port time was very early, Justin arranged the tour in a way which made the most use of our time. He is not a licensed tour guide. But he should be. He provided information along the way to each stop and answered our questions about what we were seeing or about life in Malta. At each stop, Justin gave us time to explore on our own. We never felt rushed. Justin gave us an idea how much time to spend in order to see everything we wanted. He even made a stop at an ancient temple that neither of us knew about. Justin's rate was very reasonable. We saw so much more at a cheaper price than what others saw on the cruise ship excursion. Our tour was also private and longer than what the cruise ship offered. Do yourself a favor and book with Justin. We highly recommend his services for a tour in Valetta, Malta.

5.00Justin gave us a great tour of the island. He took us to every place we wanted to and a couple of places we didn’t know we wanted to see. He made the day so easy for us, we didn’t have to worry about driving or parking in an unfamiliar place. He shared what life is like in Malta and it’s rich history. We would highly recommend this experience.

5.00Our guide, Justin, was fantastic! He took us to many wonderful places. Most were the more famous, must do on Malta. But he also took us to a pastry shop in his own town that was amazing. One of our family members is mobility challenged and he accommodated her wonderfully. Highly recommended!!

5.00We had a fantastic experience, Justin was extremely helpful, punctual and incredibly knowledgeable, making the tour both enjoyable and informative. We never felt rushed at any point which made the whole experience even more relaxing. We even had time to enjoy lunch at a restaurant in Dwejra Bay, followed by a lovely boat ride afterwards. 5.00Seeing all the historic cities, capitals, and ancient temples older than the pyramids at our pace was amazing. Sampled a traditional Rabat food and the Malta coffee that included cloves and spices and they were excellent. Justin let us know in advance what activities were closed and those that could be more difficult. His vehicle could accommodate additional passengers (up to 8 would be cozy) so this would be great for a small group interested in historic sites.
