Our guide Tarun was very friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure our family was comfortable throughout the trip. Milford Sound was absolutely breathtaking. The cruise offered amazing views of the fjords, waterfalls, and wildlife. Everything was well organized, and the private tour made it more relaxed and enjoyable for our family. It was a long day, but completely worth it. Highly recommended for families who want a comfortable and memorable experience while exploring one of New Zealand’s most beautiful places.

5.00We visited in January 2026 as a family and had an absolutely wonderful experience with Ultimate New Zealand Tours. From pick-up in Queenstown to the return journey, everything was smooth, comfortable, and well organised. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and very patient with our children. The drive to Milford Sound was scenic and informative, with plenty of photo stops along the way. The vehicle was clean and spacious, which made the long journey very comfortable for our family. Milford Sound itself was breathtaking — waterfalls, dramatic cliffs, and beautiful landscapes that left us speechless. Having a private tour made the experience relaxed and flexible, which was perfect when travelling with kids. Highly recommend this tour for families looking for a stress-free and memorable day in New Zealand!
