Antonio was so prompt polite and had such great details of all locations. He got us into Pompei so quickly and managed crowds so it was a breeze. I would recommend to everyone. Absolutely lovely day and he even helped my daughter find a postcard at the end of day. He is perfecto!!

This was an exceptional tour. We went on a private tour last month to Pompeii and Herculaneum. Antonino met us at our cruise ship and we went to Pompeii first. He was so knowledgeable and full of interesting information. He knew the answer to all our many questions, showed us all over Pompeii, took photos for us, and even our 8 and 10 year old girls (my granddaughters) were kept entertained. We were then taken to Herculaneum and given another excellent tour. We went on many tours over our vacation, but this was by far the best due to Antonino.

Our guide Antonino picked us up from the hotel and the tour started immediately He started by telling us the history of the eruption of Vesuvio 🌋 (the Italian name) back in AD 79 He explained what happened in the hours and days following and how the people of both Pompeii and Herculaneum were caught out by the speed and intensity of the explosion and subsequent falling ash and debris At both locations he showed us the main buildings and we learnt how to identify some of them like shops, villas and brothels 🤭 Some people we met had suggested skipping the Herculaneum but we found it gave more context to Pompeii which we had just visited The last part of the tour was the volcano climb. It takes about an hour up but only half an hour down but make sure you have good walking shoes as the trail is very rough and gravelly, but the views along the way and at the top were well worth it Grazie mille Antonino we has a great day 🙏🙏

This tour was of a very high standard. The van arrived early to pick us up for our private day tour and was modern, clean and well appointed. Enzo was a fantastic driver and happy to point out sights as we drove. At Pompeii we met up with Antonio, our guide for the day. Antonio was friendly, spoke excellent English and was extremely knowledgeable about Pompeii and Herculaneum, explaining the history, the lifestyles at the time of the event and the current findings. He moved at a good pace but was happy to stop and take questions or discuss various aspects of life in Pompeii including the politics of the time. This day trip was a highlight of our holiday and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
