What To Expect
Schloss Mirabell & Mirabellgarten
The iconic song "Do Re, Mi" was partly recorded at Mirabell Palace. A visit to the gardens will bring back memories of Maria and the von Trapp children dancing around the Pegasus Fountain, jumping up and down the steps and running through the hedge tunnel. Your private driver is delighted to arrange brief stop for capturing unforgettable photos.
Stift Nonnberg
Nonnberg Abbey is the oldest convent north of the Alps and is where the real Maria became a novice nun and married Georg von Trapp. Four scenes from the film were filmed here: the scene where the nuns sing "Maria" in the courtyard, Maria leaving the abbey, the children visiting her at the abbey and the Nazis hunting the von Trapps. Your local driver is ready to create short stop for those perfect photos.

5.00From the very start, our driver Tomas was welcoming and patient. Breakfast at our hotel was a little busier than we expected and he waited for us to finish, and then began our tour. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, and Tomas was a good driver, making us feel safe and confident traveling with him. Our drive included wonderful and informative conversation -- we felt we made a friend by the end of the day! He took several photos for us and was accommodating to our sightseeing requests. He even bought us some famous Mozart chocolates to enjoy! The sights in Salzburg were beautiful, but Tomas made our day that much more memorable. Vielen dank!
