Booked the tour online and received prompt confirmation of the tour and agreed upon pickup location. Our tour guide Alejandro was on time and we set off after introductions. He told us that he would break the drive to San Sebastián del Oeste up with some stops in between. Our first stop was in Las Palmas where we were able to walk around and experience the town on a Sunday morning. It was a good stop and seeing the town was very nice. Our next stop was at a bakery where we got drinks and baked goods. This also provided a great viewing location of the bridge and the mountains. The baked good were awesome and I highly recommend the empanada filled with beef and cheese. Our next stop was at a distillery where we learned how agave is made into liquor. The owner (also named Alejandro) was excellent and fun. We sampled several of their products. We spent time in San Sebastián exploring the town, shops, and restaurants. All were wonderful and a lot of fun. We returned to Puerto Vallarta where all three of us on the tour commented about how much we enjoyed it. Alejandro is delightful to talk to and has a wealth of knowledge about local customs, plants, foods, etc. He was well prepared with an ice chest of cold beverages, bug spray, and everything we needed. I would definitely book another tour with Luna Tours and Alejandro!

Five Stars for Alejandro and Luna Tours PV!Our day trip to San Sebastian del Oeste was spectacular, all thanks to our amazing guide, Alejandro! From the start, his warm hospitality and attentiveness kept us comfortable and refreshed with cold drinks. He built the perfect itinerary. We loved stopping for incredible cinnamon rolls and mushroom cheese sandwiches at the bridge panadería, followed by a fantastic visit to the local distillery. San Sebastian is a charming town, but Alejandro’s passionate storytelling and deep knowledge of its history made the trip truly unforgettable. We highly recommend booking with him!

Because my husband has slight mobility issues due to a stroke, we wanted to find a tour company that was designed for a small group that could work with us. And in finding Luna Tours & Hiking, we found a gem. We couldn't have had a better experience with Alejandro. He was absolutely wonderful, not only to book directly with, but as our own personal tour guide. Alejandro was very knowledgeable, suggesting places to stop and experiences throughout the day. We never felt rushed or concerned if we couldn't keep up. Another couple accompanied us that day, and at the end of the day, all four of us kept commenting on what a wonderful experience we had. We highly recommend Luna Tours & Hiking for anyone who wants a personalized experience. We will definitely book with Alejandro and Luna Tours again.

Our private day trip to San Sebastian could not have gone any better! Our guide, Alejandro, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was prompt to pick us up in a comfortable vehicle, showed us interesting stops along the way, suggested an authentic Mexican restaurant for lunch (which was delicious), and the pace was very comfortable. We were very happy to have had Alejandro of Luna Tours show us around San Sebastian and area.

Great day trip with Miguel from Luna Tours. The communication from inquiry to booking to payment from prompt and clear. The recommended stops along the way were very engaging, informative and fun. The San Sabastian Tequila distillery and coffee plantation are a must see along the way. The view of rural Mexico including live goats milk stands, many vegetable and fruit roadside stands and of some cows on the road made the trip that much more entertaining. If the scenery wasn't enough, Miguel educated us on the culture and history along the route and was open to answer any questions and provide more details. His English is very good. Miguel provided ample time to check out each stop and always asked to make sure we were done before venturing to the next stop.

What a wonderful experience! Our first guided tour and now I fear any future tours won’t seem as good by comparison. :) Alejandro was an exceptional tour guide. He went a leisurely place and stopped at some very interesting and cool places along the way. A couple of my favorites were the panaderia and cemetery. The town itself was well worth the trip, beautiful and full of culture. Alejandro was so knowledgeable and also just a kind and genuine person. I would highly recommend this tour and business!
