The little village was built by Idriss I, the first to bring Islam to Morocco. Have your lunch in Meknes .You will be guided through the most impressive 17t century Gate Bab Mansour and El Heri es-Souani structure used as granarie.
Have a nice way back to Fes.

Volubilis
Volubilis is the remnant of a Roman city built on the former site of a Punic-Berber city, which was the capital of the kingdom of Mauretania, located in the Saïss plain, in northern Morocco, on the banks of the wadi Rhoumane, a river in the suburbs of Meknes. It is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Moulay Driss Zerhoun It is famous for being the site of the tomb of Idris I, the first great Islamic ruler of Morocco, after whom the city is named.

5.00Mohamed's love of Morocco and desire to give his guests the best experience possible was extraordinary! He anticipated our every need from wet wipes for our hands to coins to use the bathroom. He catered to our particular interests (even treating us to pomegranates and coffee and also stopping at a supermarket) and we learned so much about Moroccan history and culture. We only had a day with him but it was one we will never forget. Highly recommended!

5.00Beautiful 4-day getaway in northern Morocco with Mohammed: Fes, Middle Atlas, Meknes, volubilis, Chefchaouen, Tetouan and Tangier. Mohammed is a cheerful, professional guide, perfectly familiar with the history of his country. Its extensive network makes your stay smooth and efficient. We had a great time with him. It is very endearing and with little care! We highly recommend it!

He is so kind and full of interesting cultural and geographic information. It was a joy getting to know him and we look forward to working with him again some day. ❤️
