What To Expect
You will leave Manteigas towards Poço do Inferno. But the waterfall, which lends its name to this route, is just one of the many points of interest on the tour. Right after leaving Manteigas you will enter the Forest of Carvalhais, a mixed and dense forest that leaves no one indifferent. The Serra de Baixo plateau has a more rugged landscape. But the views of the Zêzere Valley and the Serra Central Massif are unbeatable. The arrival at the waterfall is made again through a leafy forest area. You will return to Manteigas through the Leandres Valley, one of the most enchanting of our Serra da Estrela. A route with all the best that the mountains have to offer. Water, trees, panoramic views, silence and tranquility. A journey that will surprise you.

5.00Julia was an ideal guide and adapted perfectly to our pace. He explained the particularities of the area, and gave us many recommendations for our days in Manteigas. I recommend biking with a guide on the first day, because then you can use his friendliness and tips to make the most of your visit to Manteigas.
Must do! Great way to explore the area.

5.00We really enjoyed the experience - 10/10! Our guides were so friendly and welcoming, and had interesting information about the area and sites. We saw so much on the trail and was great fun. With a beautiful picturesque stop for refueling half way through the trip, and got some beautiful photos throughout. I am not a cyclist (last time I was on a bike was about 10 years ago!) and my partner is, so it was great to be able to do this together despite our ability levels, and the e-bike was a fantastic way to explore the area. Highly recommend!

5.00We love this tour so much. It is a little bit challenging for people do not have mountain bike experience, but under supervision, we managed to handle it and turns out it is fun and safe. The views are stunning. If you are going to this area, don’t hesitate and try! We have a great time in Manteigas!

5.00Julia is a great and friendly guide. She lives in the area with her husband, so is well known in the area. My husband, daugther of sixteen and I had a great time with Julia ! the bikes are easy to handle and because they atre electrical its a nice ride up hill and you can enjoy the scenery. Its such a beautifull mountain area ! I would highly recommend this trip ! Its money very well spend !

Special trails for contemplation of nature, with tasting of local products, contact and experience with producers and people from the region who valued the pedal!! Nuno and Julia are brilliant and pass on the story in an easy and contagious way and gently guide the whole journey. Note 10 for pre, during and post-pedal care!! Immaculate bike. Picnic to give water in the mouth. Wonderful hosting. Just emotion!!!
