The trip to the floating market, the small rice noodle factory and the Cacao farm was incredibly exciting and full of highlights and away from the huge tourist crowds. We have experienced an incredible number of impressions and immersed ourselves in many new and interesting worlds. Our guide Edward was the perfect companion on the tour and with his great knowledge of the culture and nature knew a lot of exciting and also fun to tell! Thank you very much Edward! The local and authentic food we enjoyed in various places was just delicious! As a conclusion of the tour we visited a nature reserve in the mangroves, which was super relaxing and peaceful. The tour from start to finish super organized! How can the excursion recommend to anyone who wants to get to know Vietnam from another side and who is interested in the culture and nature of the country!

The tour was very nice, away from the big tourist streams. The floating market was nice to watch and the rice noodle factory and the cacaofarm were very interesting to get to know the production of the products more closely. We enjoyed the very authentic lunch at a local restaurant. Finally, we were able to observe many birds in the nature reserve. Our guide Edward told us a lot about the country and life in Vietnam. Thanks for that!

My friend and I signed up for a private Eco Tour and it was incredible! Our tour guide, Thi, was so knowledgeable and fun, and showed us the floating markets where we had breakfast on our boat. We started talking about food, and I told Thi that my favorite was the traditional Vietnamese pancakes. Thi told us that there was a cooking class tour as well, and that we could learn how to cook our favorite Vietnamese meals. We immediately signed up for that too, because we wanted to make sure that we got the same tour guide again, and the same sweet boat driver. We went to a huge market where we picked up all of the fresh ingredients for our lunch. The market was absolutely incredible, and is a must see! We sailed up the river, and then onto a smaller canal to reach the cooking destination. We came to an area with thick vegetation in the water, and Thi explained to us how to rock the boat to get through the vegetation. It was an amazing experience, and we were laughing and having the best possible time. When we arrived at our destination Thi asked if we would like to relax in the hammocks and enjoy some refreshing beverages. I had a mango/passionfruit shake and it was unbelievably good. You have to try this!! We cooked together, ate together, and Thi told us about the Vietnamese culture and she was so knowledgeable and full of remarkable information. Later she took us on to a chocolate plantation, showed us how everything was made, got us samples (yum!) and told us about the various plants growing in the area. I could go on for pages about this incredible trip, but that would be too long. I highly recommend the Eco Tours trips, and warmly suggest that you ask if Thi is avaialable, as she took the experience to the next level! Thank you to Thi, our boat driver (I forgot her name, but she was the sweetest) and thank you Eco tours for bringing all of these incredible experiences to us tourists. We are traveling all over Vietnam, but this has hands down been the number one experience of our trip!!

This tour was an epic trip around the waterways of Can Tho (Vietnam) organised by FME Travel Network. Our tour guide Edward was incredibly charismatic and informative with a great sense of humour. We shared a lot of jokes and made each section of the trip incredibly memorable. Our group all had a great time on this tour, getting breakfast at the floating markets of Can Tho, visiting the traditional businesses of the city river and traversing the natural mangrove forests of the Mekong right up close. Highly recommend doing this tour if you ever find yourself in Can Tho! 5/5 stars

I had an amazing day visiting Cái Răng Floating Market and Lung Ngọc Hoàng Nature Reserve—two must-see destinations in the Mekong Delta! Cái Răng Floating Market: This was a fascinating experience! We started early (at 5:30 AM) to catch the market at its busiest. The sight of boats loaded with fresh fruits, vegetables, and local specialties was incredible. Vendors were friendly, and we even had breakfast on a boat—delicious hủ tiếu (Vietnamese noodle soup) served fresh on the water. It’s a great way to see authentic river life, though the market is smaller than it used to be. Lung Ngọc Nature Park was a great place to visit in the afternoon. After the floating market, we headed to this hidden gem, and had some lunch included. The reserve is a peaceful escape, filled with stunning waterways, lush greenery, and diverse birdlife. A boat tour was the highlight—so quiet and serene! If you love nature and want to experience a less touristy side of southern Vietnam, this is perfect. Special mention to Edward and Khẳng for being our tour guides for the day. Thank you!!! Cam on! 🤩
