What To Expect
Explore Rome’s must-see spots and embark on an artistic journey designed for families with kids! From the Trevi Fountain to the Pantheon, you’ll not only discover Rome’s legendary landmarks but also dive into a fun- adventure that sparks your creativity and curiosity, using Rome’s streets as your very own art lab! As AJ, an art historian and licensed tour guide, leads your family through Rome’s open-air museum, your adventure begins with a special mission—finding hidden animals across the city’s statues, buildings, and piazzas. Along the way, you’ll even encounter some of Rome’s real feline residents at a historic cat sanctuary, with the chance to meet and even pet these friendly cats! Equipped with a list of animals to spot, your children will explore with fresh eyes, turning every corner into an exciting discovery. With each find, AJ will share fascinating stories behind these artistic details, bringing Roman history and architecture to life. Then, inspired by their discoveries, your kids will get creative with a fun art task right on the spot, using the provided art supplies and comfy cushions. Parents are encouraged to join in, making this a shared family experience.

5.00We attended the Private Scavenger Hunt Art Lab for Families – With Rome’s Landmarks, and it was one of the highlights of our trip! The experience was beautifully organized — a perfect mix of creativity, discovery, and fun. The scavenger hunt around Rome’s landmarks made learning about the city exciting for kids, while the art lab allowed them to express what they saw in their own unique way. The instructor AJ was fantastic — patient, knowledgeable, and so engaging with the children. They managed to balance education and entertainment perfectly. The atmosphere was warm and inspiring, and the whole experience felt very personal and well thought out.

She created a fun, interactive animal scavenger hunt through statues and fountains that completely captivated our 7-year-old (and us too!). Along the way, we got to stop and draw, using creative prompts that tied into the history and art around us. It was thoughtful, engaging, and the perfect way to explore Rome as a family. AJ made everything feel personal, playful, and meaningful! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

5.00I booked this experience to make the most of my time in Rome with my niece, and it exceeded all expectations. From start to finish, it was simply amazing. The scavenger hunt was not only fun and engaging for the kids but also a brilliant way for all of us to explore the city’s incredible art and history. AJ, our guide, was the heart of the experience. Her warmth, energy, and creativity brought everything to life. She made every moment special, both educational and joyful, and kept the kid (and adult!) completely captivated. You could truly feel her passion for Roman art and culture. This is an absolute must do for families visiting Rome. Vicky and I had a fantastic time, and we can’t wait for our next adventure discovering Roman history, hopefully with AJ again as our guide! 5.00Today we had an absolutely magical guided sightseeing scavenger hunt with AJ. We went at 6:30pm to try to escape the 90+ heat from the day… She took us to Piazza Minerva, The Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Largo de Argentina, and another place I forget the name of. She brings art supplies and has your child create art at different spots on the tour in addition to talking about the artists and history behind the beautiful public art and architecture that you see. The scavenger hunt is to see certain animals on a checklist… it was hugely educational for both myself and my daughter and I feel like it made seeing the major sights in Rome soooo much more interesting than if I had just taken my six year old by myself. If I had to pick two activities to recommend to do with kids in Rome I would pick this tour and the fettuccine and tiramisu class at Tucci.
