  Just been on this course and being a total kitchen phobe found it brilliant. Woody wad brilliant picking us up from our hotel taking us to the kitchen. There was a brief market tour showing the local food vegetables and spices available. The kitchen class was excellent showing us a total of 5 recipes with simple to follow steps to follow. We had 3 dishes each and it really was the best food we have had in Phuket. I cannot praise Tommy and his helpers enough. It was excellent value for 4 hours door to door together the the instruction and recipe given at the end. Well worth a visit for both cooks and non cooks alike.

  Very enjoyable class! We did morning option with market visit and had private transfer from our hotel. Group was small, just 4 people, which gave us lots of options to ask questions. We started at local market where Woody showed us local ingredients, we picked up some herbs and freshly squeezed coconut milk. Woody introduced us to local spices and gave tips how to select the best mango. After market he drove us to his kitchen where we made green curry pasta from scratch, cooked several widely known Thai dishes and had a private tour of Woody’s garden.   My partner and I really enjoyed our cooking class with Wooddy. We were so impressed by our teacher’s knowledge and cooking skills, we were so entertained the entire time and even got a private tour of the garden where many of the ingredients are grown. Highly recommend booking this class, worth every penny.

  My family & I booked to have a private cooking tour with Wooddy. It was a fantastic experience. Wooddy’s passion for cooking & his knowledge of local produce was fantastic. We made 4 dishes each & we also had the opportunity to change a dish for one of our daughters. The food we cooked was excellent. Would highly recommend.

  What a fun and fantastic cooking experience with Mr Wooddy, from shopping in local market to buy ingredients to then going to his cooking school. It really is a must do to learn how to prepare the ingredients for what ever you choose to cook. You get 3 or 4 options of what food you want to cook and eat. There is so much food you will not go hungry and you can takeaway what you don't finish. A must is the Green curry we have been cooking this at home for years but nothing as flavoursome and as aromatic as this.

  We booked our Thai cooking experience with Chef Wooddy directly through his website, saving money compared to the street agents. Along with my wife and friends we were picked up from the hotel for a private, hands-on culinary adventure. The day began with a visit to the local markets, which was an experience in itself. Wooddy explained the ingredients in detail, including how coconut milk is extracted using machines—quite different from the natural milk obtained by cracking the nut. We also selected fresh vegetables and herbs, adding authenticity to every dish we would prepare. The cooking class took place in a stunning location nestled in the mountain valley of Kata Beach, with breathtaking views of the Big Buddha. The area was surrounded by a lush tropical fruit and vegetable garden, which framed the outdoor kitchen beautifully. We wandered through the garden, picking kaffir lime leaves, lemongrass, and Thai basil straight from the earth. This added a tactile joy to the experience, grounding each recipe in freshness and intention. Wooddy encouraged us to taste, adjust, and trust our instincts. Cooking Thai food with him was unforgettable—equal parts flavorful, fun, and full of heart. From pounding curry paste to balancing sweet, sour, salty, and spicy notes, every step was hands-on and deeply immersive. His passion and storytelling brought each dish to life, connecting ingredients to culture and tradition. We crafted classics like fried chicken with cashew nuts, tom yum king prawn soup, and Thai green chicken curry, while also exploring lesser-known gems. Wooddy’s guidance was warm and precise, making complex techniques feel approachable. The aromas, the laughter, the shared bites—it all felt like a celebration. Thai cooking with Wooddy wasn’t just a class; it was a soulful journey.   Fantastic afternoon spent with Wooddy and his family. He was very informative about all the lovely local ingredients. The cooking part was the best, he really had it organised so well.
