Björn, our driver, was amazing! Very knowledgeable and interesting. I can see how the trip to the flam would be confusing to a tourist without a guide and this tour took all the stress out of it. It’s a long day, but the stunning views are totally worth it and the long car ride went fast with good conversation.

We had an amazing day with Janis, the tour was excellent!! Prompt pick up, he was informative and we had a good time with him. There was an issue with the train and we didn’t get to do that part, he ended up driving us to Flam to do the cruise in the fjord part which turned out to be perfect so we don’t feel like we missed anything by doing so, everything for a reason. The tour is definitely worth the money and the scenery is SPECTACULAR!!!! We would highly recommend the tour and hope that Janis is your guide!!

Overall good trip. Just be prepared for a very very long day. Drive to the boat cruise was longer than anticipated (more like 5 hours), but our driver was very kind and shared alot of good and interesting info along the way. We also stopped at several points for restrooms and quick photo stops. Directions about the day and where to go/time was clear. The boat was great with breathtaking views and we had lunch on the boat as we didn't really have time to sit down and eat at the cafe beforehand- we arrived to the boat just before boarding. I do wish we had more time to look around once at Flam too-we had to go directly from the boat to the train. Views on the trains were also great. This really is a trip for taking in natural views that you won't get in the city. As long as you are comfortable spending most of the day riding (car, boat, trains) it's worth it.

The trip was absolutely magnificent and I wish I could have done more! Definitely worth it and couldn’t have asked for better weather (even the rain was part of the charm)

The natural beauty of this experience made me hit the 3 star rating but.... As for the actual excursion, what a disaster. Our Driver Bjorn and the 2 hours fjord cruise were great!!! Drive was much longer than we were told. After cruise we were rushed to a more than full train that had been filled much earlier with people coming off busses. Needless to say there were no seats available. We stood next to a overflowing garbage for the hour ride. Views are not great apart from waterfall. Second train is a little better but make sure they book you together, we were not! Also very little time for lunch and snooping around . All in all ,Not worth the money. $1000 for 8 hours of driving and a $200 pp boat cruise. Rent a car and make it on you own. Don't take me wrong, the beauty of Norway is incredible!
