Mosques & Palace have very strict dress codes: women must wear long loose clothing, and ensure their arms and legs are fully covered. Women are also required to cover their heads at all times. For Mosque visit a long Abaya with scarf (long black dress attire) will be provided by the tour operator if needed which must be returned back; Men must not show above their knees and must cover their shoulders. Failure to do so will be a refused entry. The tour operator cannot provide any clothing for men

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is named after Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father and first president of the UAE. It is also sometimes referred to as the Grand Mosque or simply the Abu Dhabi Grand Mosque. The mosque is known for its stunning and intricate architecture. It is one of the largest mosques in the world and is designed in a blend of various architectural styles, including Persian, Mughal, and Moorish influences. It features white marble exteriors, domes, minarets, and ornate decorative elements. (Ramadan Timing :Saturday - Thursday 10.00 am to 6.00 pm & 9.30 pm to 1.00 am , Friday: 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm )

Shafi is an exceptional guide in every way: friendly, professional, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about Abu Dhabi and the United Arab Emirates, which he shared with us throughout the entire day. The atmosphere during the tour was always relaxed and enjoyable. Shafi quickly felt like part of the family. Everything was absolutely wonderful, from the city tour to lunch. He is also an excellent driver, ensuring we felt completely safe at all times. We truly enjoyed every moment. Shafi kindly lent me a beautiful abaya to wear so I could dress appropriately for a visit to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, a thoughtful gesture I deeply appreciated. Throughout the day, he also kindly took family photos for us at the best locations, allowing us to keep truly special memories of this experience. We drove along the Abu Dhabi Corniche, visited the Emirates Palace Hotel, the stunning Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, and, at our request, Shafi arranged tickets for Qasr Al Watan Palace (do not miss it ! It is extraordinary!). We had lunch at Al Mina Fish Market, where the creamy lobster was absolutely delicious. We also stopped by the Louvre Abu Dhabi (just for photos!) and enjoyed many incredible panoramic views throughout the day. He saw many, many throughout the day. On behalf of our whole family, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Shafi for these unforgettable moments. We truly hope life brings us back to Abu Dhabi, a city we loved, and gives us the opportunity to meet Shafi again. Esta visita foi, sem dúvida, uma das melhores experiências que já tivemos. O Shafi teve ainda a gentileza de me emprestar uma linda abaya, permitindo-me vestir-me adequadamente para visitar a Mesquita Sheikh Zayed. Um gesto de grande atenção. Durante todo o dia, teve também o cuidado de nos tirar fotografias em família nos melhores locais, permitindo-nos guardar recordações ainda mais especiais desta experiência. Percorremos a Corniche de Abu Dhabi, visitámos o Hotel Emirates Palace e a Grande Mesquita Sheikh Zayed. A nosso pedido, o Shafi também tratou dos bilhetes para o Palácio Qasr Al Watan (não percam! É extraordinário!). Almoçámos no Al Mina Fish Market, onde a lagosta com natas estava deliciosa. Passámos ainda pelo Louvre Abu Dhabi (só para as fotos!) e desfrutámos de vistas panorâmicas incríveis ao longo de todo o dia. Nós vimos muitas, muitas coisas durante todo o dia. Em nome de toda a família, deixamos um enorme agradecimento ao Shafi por estes momentos inesquecíveis. Esperamos que a vida nos proporcione um novo encontro com o Shafi em Abu Dhabi, uma cidade que adorámos.

5.00I booked a private Abu Dhabi layover tour with Riyago Tourism as a solo (female) traveler, and I was incredibly fortunate to have Shafeek as my guide. Shafeek arrived exactly on time at the airport, was professional from the first moment, and made the entire day feel effortless. Shafeek is extremely knowledgeable and shared fascinating insights about Emirati culture, history, and daily life. He paced the day perfectly around my layover, making sure I saw the highlights without ever feeling rushed, and he was flexible in adapting the itinerary to what interested me most. The vehicle was spotless and comfortable, communication beforehand was clear, and I returned to the airport with plenty of time to spare. I couldn’t recommend Shafeek highly enough — especially for travelers with limited time in Abu Dhabi!
