Moraca River Canyon
Just 30 minutes away from Podgorica there is a spectacular canyon of Moraca river, about 30 km long and up to 1000 m deep, famous for its steep cliffs. Our stop will be in the middle of the canyon with a view on clear and green Moraca river, and cliffs. Moraca river is one of not many remaining wild rivers in Europe, long about 113 km with the spring under the high peaks of Moracke mountains, with clear and always cold water.
Moraca Monastery
One of the most significant Montenegrin monasteries is located just next to the Moraca river, and contains some of the most beautiful icons and frescoes not just in Montenegro but in the Balkans. There is a great history behind this 8 centuries old religious place and it is one of the most visited monasteries in Montenegro.

You will really love this experience because Nino is an excellent tour guide with a lot of knowledge. He speaks English very well and knows a lot of history and is extremely thoughtful. He knows every place in Montenegro and will take you wherever you want to stop. It was a very meaningful experience to see some of the places and he's very detail oriented and knowledgeable. I would hire him to meet my private driver or to ask him for any advice on any tour at any time in montenegro. He's a real treasure.

This was a wonderful tour with breath taking sites. Nino the guide from Natour Montenegro Travel is and excellent guide who not only knows every tiny road in Montenegro but has deep knowledge of the history and culture. Being on a Van instead of a sedan also allows up to watch better the views.

We had a great day with Nino exploring the Durmitor national park, black lake and Tara canyon. He was very knowledgeable about any topic, has a good sense of humour and went above and beyond helping us with logistics when organising wine at the end of the tour. Nothing was too difficult and we were also able to take a small dog on the tour with us which was great!

It was an opportunity to see the interior of Montenegro to go with the boat cruise along the coast. Such beautiful country.

We originally booked another tour covering both Durmitor and Biogradska Gora National Parks, but due to an unexpected landslide, the road between these two parks was blocked. Thankfully, our original guide quickly helped us rearrange our plans and introduced us to Nino Markovic for a private full-day tour. We couldn’t have been luckier! Nino is an incredibly passionate and knowledgeable guide who clearly loves his country deeply. He seemed to know everyone we encountered along the way and was intimately familiar with every corner of Montenegro. What made this tour especially remarkable was Nino’s determination and patience. To ensure we could still visit both Durmitor and Biogradska Gora on the same day, despite the road blockage, he drove a significantly longer route - covering a big loop through northern Montenegro, bringing us to areas near the borders of Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina. The tour lasted more than 12 hours, and Nino remained enthusiastic and dedicated throughout. We visited beautiful locations including the stunning Tara Canyon and Bridge (where we had an exhilarating zipline experience), the peaceful Biogradska Gora, and the serene Black Lake in Durmitor. Nino walked with us, sharing fascinating stories about each place. His genuine care was especially evident when he showed sadness upon noticing some of Biogradska Gora's oldest trees had fallen. We are truly grateful to Nino for his exceptional effort, patience, and passion, without which our plans would have been impossible due to the unexpected circumstances. We highly recommend Nino and this tour to anyone wanting an authentic and heartfelt experience in Montenegro! Thank you again, Nino!
