What To Expect

At the start of your trip, we picked you up from a specific location at the time agreed upon. We then make our way a couple of miles out at sea, and on our way to our final destination, we might be in for a treat. It's quite possible that we might spot dolphins, manatees, or even sharks. Thereafter we will start our fishing expedition and have you showing off your skills in getting that grand slam; our number one goal for the day. The fish targeted for the grand slam are permit, tarpon, snook, and bonefish. At midday, we break for about an hour and enjoy the calm of the sea and a delicious Belizean prep meal. If requested, we can stop in at an island for lunch. After lunch, we will be back at it making sure your grand slam experience is one you will never forget. We can guarantee that you will achieve your goal of either a grand slam or reeling in any of your desired fish. As your adventure comes to an end, we will drop you off at your destination safe and sound!

We went out for two full days with Wayne. He was great and extremely knowledgeable. He is the best at spotting fish and extremely patient. He worked very hard to keep the boat in position to accommodate both a right-hander and left-hander. I would recommend Wayne for anyone wanting to go out and flats fish.

Bucket List Fly Fishing Expedition. The guide, Wayne, is a world class fisherman. He had us on the fish and having a great time from start to finish. So generous, patient, and accommodating. Not to mention, the Permit are huge!! Ice chest full of cold drinks, great food, and lunch on a private island. Best fishing expedition of my life, and I highly recommend DK if you’re looking for the most professional private fly fishing charter in Belize. Thank You Wayne!!!

Bucket List Fly Fishing Expedition. Wayne, the guide, was a real professional. Generous, patient, and timely. We were on the fish and had a great time. My wife enjoyed the trip and especially the shade canopy. Ice chest full of cold drinks and a private island for lunch. The Permit were huge!! Highly recommend DK for a top tier professional fly fishing experience.

My husband is an avid fly fisherman and first fished with Wayne Castellanos in 2012. More than 10 years later he had the opportunity again and it was another fabulous day on the water. He's caught tarpon, permit, and bonefish with Wayne and is sure to contact him again on our next trip to Belize - Wayne is knowledgeable and great company. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
