On this trip, you will witness the clean Norwegian lakes and nature in all their splendor. Please note: This hike is only available for private bookings. The price listed is for the entire group. Maridalsvannet, or Lake Maridal, is the largest lake in Oslo and serves as the city’s main drinking water supply. The lake’s clear waters flow through the Akerselva River to the Oslo Fjord. The trip begins outside Backstube Opera in the city center. From there, we will take the Vy train to Snippen Station. This is a scenic train ride, so don’t forget to capture the stunning views! Once we arrive, we will hike up to a tall hill, where some light climbing is required. The reward for your efforts is a breathtaking panoramic view: from the cityscape of Oslo to the shimmering waters of the Oslo Fjord, and the vast, lush countryside and forests that stretch as far as the eye can see.
After soaking in the views, we’ll make our way down to the tranquil shores of Maridalsvannet, Oslo’s largest lake, surrounded by serene forests and pristine nature. The journey concludes back at Jernbanetorget, where we started – but with memories that will last a lifetime.

A lovely day: well planned, well led and well organised with a superb guide in Mustafa who was charming, knowledgeable and efficient in every way. Beautiful forest paths, good climb, great views, fine picnic with spectacular view over the lake.

So, the day was rainy, but nevertheless, brother Mustapha made it great :) Had a wonderful time, the scenery is amazing, learned much about the surroundings, the nature itself and shared cultural differences between Norway, Morocco and Serbia. Turns out that we are not that different :) All in all, truly, a wonderful experience! Oh, and we had Stig with us :D

Was an absolutely brilliant trip with Erlend, we are visitors to Oslo from Middle east (Dubai and Egypt) and we just love how organized the trip and how they take care of details and provide Halal food...
