Halong Bay

Dong Thien Cung
In the morning tourist guide and driver pick you up from your hotel at about 8.00 – 8.30 Bus drive 170 km to the Northeast of Viet Nam ( 3,5 hrs ). Along the way you can enjoy the stunning scenery of the Red River delta with peaceful villages, farmers working in their green fields, herding their water buffalos, flocking their ducks, trading garden herbs by the side of the road. We also make a stop on the half way to stretch our legs, enjoy a coffee or tea… before we continue our trip to Ha Long Bay. Arrive in Ha Long bay at about 12.00. The tour guide takes you to the boat for cruising Ha Long Bay (4-5 hours). Seafood lunch is served while the boat cruises the bay to enjoy the beautiful limestone seascapeon the boat. After lunch, you have a chance to visit one of the most beautiful cave in Ha Long bay- Thien Cung cave or the Palace of Heaven Grotto (where in 1288 one of Vietnam’s most famous Generals Tran Hung Dao amassed hundreds of stakes deep inside the cave prior to a battle with an invading Mongol army). We walking up to the middle of the island, then go inside of the cave to exploring. There are a lot of stalagmites and stalactites look like some animals.

5.00We booked a private tour and had a guide and the entire boat all to ourselves. The journey from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay was a bit longer, but it was definitely worth it. Everything went very smoothly and we were lucky with beautiful weather and a clear blue sky. We first arrived in the Ha Long Bay area and enjoyed the stunning panoramic views. During the cruise, lunch was served, featuring a selection of local dishes and it was delicious! After that, we switched to kayaks and paddled between the limestone cliffs and through caves. It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend it! We then made a stop at the Dong Thien Cung caves before heading back. Everything went perfectly. Our guide spoke very good English and we truly enjoyed the entire trip. 👌🏼

5.00What a fantastic tour! It was really nice to be picked up at our hotel a little later than some other options because I am not a morning person. First stop was an interesting stop at a pearl farm. In the bay today, it was projected to be cloudy, but the sun came out completely for the entire time! Halong Bay itself is, of course, stunning! My favorite part besides the bay was the kayaking, which I had not tried before. The lunch was sumptuous. The caves were impressive, then there’s a last stop to purchase local products on the way back. It was a memory of a lifetime! Johnny is a very attentive tour guide and make sure we had everything we needed for comfort and safety.Mr.Binh is a good driver,and the trip felt much shorter than it was. Book this. You won’t regret it!

4.00Nice cruise to Ha Long Bay, takes you around the pretty scenic views with beautiful boat trip included for more up close views. We went into the big cave as well which was gorgeous. Lunch was served and had vegetarian option which was good. There were a lot of little small plates, food was alright but good they had as an option. Drinks are not included and needed cash to pay. Otherwise pleasant experience to see the bay!
