Magnificent Scenery led by an Exceptional Guide

5.0Hein was our guide and he did an outstanding job of explaining what to expect, at each point of the tour. The experience was breathtaking. He made sure he pointed out the different island formations. The row boat through the caves was amazing, but the best part was walking up the 85 steps to the large cave. It was magnificent. We have beautiful pictures, but it was hard to capture the wonder of the entire cave. There is another cave but it involved a steep hill so we decided to skip that cave. Hein is an exceptional guide and if you are lucky enough to have him on your tour you will not be disappointed.

5.0We were some of the first international tourists back to Ha Long Bay, it was virtually left all to ourselves. We had an entire boat for the 4 of us, and the food was excellent. The drinks (extra charge) were cold and there was a great variety. The caves were beautiful, the fishing village and small boat ride was quiet and pretty. It is an absolutely must do trip, and if you like pearls they have a stop on the way to top off your shopping list.
