Our driver Gobi was amazing and accommodating, and really allowed us to explore each location at our own pace, while giving good historical and cultural background and context. This private tour is highly recommended!

Harin was a fantastic guide. He gave us interesting facts about Malaysia & the sites. We learned a little about all the religions we visited, Batu Caves , Grand Mosque & Thean Hou Temple. Did some shopping in Chinatown & got some tips from our guide so we didn’t get ripped off. Harin even took us to a Pokemon store when we asked where we could find some there. We had a wonderful day!

Some parts were good, others severely lacking. 6.5/10Our driver picked us up at our hotel. We first stopped at the Batu caves, which the driver expertly maneuvered the back streets so we could get close as possible due to their religious festival. He gave us an hour here. We then were headed the Mosque, where we learned we needed to be fully covered. He offered to stop somewhere to purchase appropriate attire, but as our hotel was next to the Mosque we asked if we could go there and he agreed. This initially was listed as our last stop, which would be convenient. We had 30 minutes here, which was plenty. Then to Thean Hou Temple. He did walk us in and talked about 2 statues and gave us 30 minutes, which was a bit rrushed. We drove through Little India and past the Central Market, which we were supposed to have 30 minutes at each. He then showed us where China Town was and asked us if we were going to have lunch here. We hesitatingly said we supposed so, not sure what was going on. He said ok and to make sure we grabbed our stuff. I had thought the tour was supposed to drop us off where we started, but wasn't 100% at the time, realizing after he left it was. Needless to say the tour was a bit disappointing as we didn't get exactly what was listed in the tour description. It skipped basically three spots out of six.

My driver was prompt with pick up time which was good. He was very knowledgeable about everything he pointed out in the street with regards to areas and buildings. Visit to the batu caves was first and it wasn’t busy when we got there about 820 am , loads of monkeys which was cool. We then went to a batik shop to see how the batik handicrafts were made ( was really interesting and the girl in the shop was really great but I felt bad as I wasn’t expecting this stop so I didn’t have money to buy anything) We then went to Thean Hou temple which was beautiful, make sure you visit all the grounds around the back etc and see the gardens, the rainbow steps and water features at the front. We stopped at little India for a quick walk and then onto the national mosque before a wander in central market. Would recommend!
