Dating back to the 16th century, this picturesque village has gained renown for its lavender oil production. As you cycle through its quaint streets, you’ll be greeted by lush lavender fields and striking stacks of rocks or dry walls. These formations were meticulously crafted by clearing soil from rocks, ensuring fertile ground for cultivation. Additionally, locals utilized dry walls to demarcate boundaries and create charming fences. The panoramic vista from this vantage point is nothing short of breathtaking, offering sweeping views of the Adriatic Sea and the enchanting surrounding islands.

3.00To be fair, I misunderstood what the tour really was. I assumed self guided was more insights about our route pointing out areas of interest. Essentially you are renting bikes for a beautiful ride to a very nice winery. If that is what you are looking for this is 5 stars. Young man at the bike shop was very helpful and the hostess at the winery was great. We also had some issues with the mapping system from the QR code provided and were never really sure where we were and how much longer we had to go. It took us much longer to get to the winery than we expected even without stopping. In spite of the challenges the people were very nice, bikes were great and views along the way are spectacular at points.

5.00My husband and I loved how this was a self-guided ebike tour to explore the island. The meeting place was easy to find, and we were given a google map (and hard copy) which was easy to follow. The e-bikes were a lot of fun and we had a great time at the winery. We would highly recommend this!

4.00The Lacman family’s own vineyard was a five-star experience – fantastic natural wines, beautiful views and warm, personal service. The whole trip was cosy and well organized. The bike trip went fine, even in the heat, and there were cosy villages on the road.Attracting one star because the marketing promises ‘admission to Malo Grablje’, but the place is free to visit, and we were informed that it was not worth the trip there in the heat.

5.00I really enjoyed the Hvar Bike and Wine Tour. The ride to the winery was long but absolutely beautiful, with stunning views—especially as you get closer to the winery. The wine itself was excellent, and the bikes provided were high-quality and easy to use, which made the journey enjoyable. My only suggestion would be for the tour company to provide the name and address of the winery ahead of time. We ended up riding about 20 minutes in the wrong direction before doing a bit of Google research to figure out where we were actually supposed to be headed. Having that information upfront would’ve made things smoother. Overall, a great experience—just a bit more guidance at the start would make it perfect.

5.00This was a fabulous experience! Outdoor Hvar was extremely professional and provided a great map and the best E-bikes we have ever rented. They gave us the route and made sure we were comfortable on the bikes. The ride was beautiful - through small hamlets. past lavender fields and great views around every turn. We rode to the winery for a prearranged wine tasting and then rode back. We did not ride to the fortress - we dropped off the bikes and then hiked to the top. This was a little different from the description but it worked well! Highly recommend this if you are on Hvar!

5.00I’ll admit it. I’ve cycled a lot but taking off solo on an e-bike in unfamiliar territory seemed a bit daunting. The experienced cyclist from whom I picked up the bike was calm and reassuring and off I went! Major hills and a good bit of work for a day that was well worth it. Lacman Winery was gorgeous and my server was so attentive and knowledgeable (and a bit group came in right before me, and she made me feel like the only patron at the winery.) Some terrifying downhills on the way back but what a great day!
