What To Expect
Our tour takes you past some of the highlights of the city of Silves. Here you can see, for example, the "Ponte Romana", the old bridge of the city, the Moorish Castello, to the former mosque of the current cathedral of the city. You will learn a lot of interesting facts and historical facts about the former capital of the Algarve and its historical importance. Depending on the weather situation, our tour leads south/west along the Rio Arade towards Portimao or north towards Monchique. On both routes you will enjoy unique impressions that will fascinate you with the flora of the Algarve with its many different trees and plants. Our routes lead over narrow mountain passes to incredible places where great photo perspectives await you. But don't worry. The adrenaline rush doesn't stop there. Many of our customers say this tour is the "most romantic roller coaster" ride they have ever experienced.
Castelo de Silves
The Castle of Silves Fotopunkt (A motif straight out of a fairy tale) Built on a hilltop in the region's reddish sandstone, the castle, in an irregular rectangular plan, consists of a crenellated ring of walls with several half-height towers, but only one gate, in front of which is a bronze statue of King Sancho I.

5.00This was our first trip to Portugal and we stayed a few days in the Algarve and a few in Lisbon. We had a boat tour of the caves and it was more expensive and just ok. This Jeep tour of Silves was provided by Felix. He deserves 10 stars!!! He customized our private tour and showed us places we didn’t know we wanted to see; he also showed us around our Portimaou area a little. He spent an extra hour or two over with us.

5.00Brilliant personalised tour! What a fantastic guy Felix is, he got us out of our hotel resort and on the tour at very short notice. Felix filled the tour with history, mountains, breathtaking views and an abundance of local knowledge just as requested. My kids absolutely loved the off-roading!! I’m so glad I looked online for a local tour and did not go through the holiday rep.

5.00It was a great experience. You will see a lot of places and know things that you do not see and or find out compared to a large tourist organization. And you will also get great tips on which places you can visit from the local community. Felix (the tourguide) is a spontaneous cheerful man and does his job with great pleasure and passion. There are even beautiful action pictures taken.

5.00We took the 3,5 hour buggy tour. It was really nice. Felix and his daughter luiza received us at their farmhouse where the buggy was ready for us. We took a tour around all nice places in the area. Felix could tell us a lot about the history of all places and also gave us some really good tips for going out.
