Harissa: the iconic mountaintop shrine reached by cable car, 650 metres above the Mediterranean. Baatara Gorge Waterfall: one of the most extraordinary geological formations in the Middle East — a 255-metre waterfall dropping through a natural limestone bridge system carved over millions of years, completely hidden until you reach the rim.

The upper cave on foot — stalactites and stalagmites up to 8 metres tall, formed over millions of years into formations of extraordinary scale and beauty. The lower cave by silent electric boat — gliding along an underground river through chambers of absolute stillness. One of the most spectacular natural experiences in the Middle East, 30 minutes from Beirut. Entrance fee payable on site. Photography not permitted inside. Lower cave boat ride may close during high water seasons.
