This tour is a incredible experience. Rod is well educated and experienced tour guide . He has a vast knowledge of native plants and the local ruins. A very personal and professional experience as he shows you. Around the magnificent ancient city. This tour is a highlight of any trip .T he local lunch that’s included is incredible. I walked away from this experience with more understanding and appreciation of the maya then I would have expected.

Our private tour of Xunantunich with St. Leonard’s tours was exceptional. Our tour guide Rod was amazing. You could feel his passion for Xunantunich and Mayan history as he guided us throughout the site. My husband and I took several tours throughout the Cayo district during our stay in San Ignacio and this tour was by far the best one.
