What To Expect

Explora Watersports offers kitesurf lessons, rental & storage. Try kitesurfing if you want to have the feeling of being powered by the wind as you fly across the water then this is for you. We teach kitesurf in a fun and safe way. Either you are a beginner or advanced kitesurfer, all members of our full certified team are dedicated to reach your goals on the water. WHAT TO EXPECT -professional and fully IKO&FAV certified team -we speak English, French, Spanish, German & Italian -latest Core kiteboarding Equipment -daily lessons until sunset -we teach you to kite in a safe and fun way -includes all insurances & rescueboats -walkie talkies BB talking (private lessons) LESSON ITINERARY: 1. day : Beach lesson. Setting up the kite, safety systems, kitecontrol 2. day : Water lesson. Bodydragging (being pulled by the kite in the water, by using the body as a board, very useful for board recovery later on) 3. Day: Waterstart: Trying to get the board on the feet and get riding 4.+ day: Riding: improving bodyposition and become and independent rider.

I had some kite lessons with Gabriel from Explora Watersports to improve my kite level. Gabriel is not only a very good kite instructor but, moreover, he really cares for and supports his clients. Regarding my progress in kiting he gave me many useful tips so that I was able to improve my skills. Besides that, he was always reachable and even supported me in regards of questions about buying a new board or kite gear. In my opinion, this is excellent customer service, I really appreciated it and highly recommend Explora Watersports for taking kite lessons or renting kite gear in Tarifa.

Gabriele and Julek were fantastic! Friendly, helpful and very professional. They followed my fiancée carefully to her first kite lesson, at the same time they were super helpful with me too. Important plus: Gabriele speaks great Italian!🇮🇹 I will definitely recommend them to all friends who will come to Tarifa!

I did a beginner’s lesson. Just wanted to get an idea of what kitesurfing is about. Great experience, just on the beach learning about controlling the kite and feeling the wind was amazing! My instructor was very clear, patient and reassuring. I can’t wait to continue and get out on the water!

Best kite school in Tarifa. Gabriele and his team are very professional and help you to make rapid progress with their relaxed manner. Tarifa itself is a fantastic place anyway - there are plenty of beautiful spots for kitesurfing or when there is no wind.

We thought that in the middle of summer in Tatifa there would be no virgin beach, with private access and perfect wind! The amazing experience with super professional monitors as well as charming. I highly recommend it!

Took 3 days of kitesurfing lessons early september. Securing the lessons was really easy and Marta was very responsive. Americo was my instructor and he was excellent! Very clear in his lessons and on the water guiding you through the best way to manage the kite and board. I got on the board very quickly and got a great taste for kitesurfing! Will be back for sure.
