We recently booked our family trip to Leh–Ladakh with Ladakh Backpackers, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The entire trip was thoughtfully planned according to our family’s needs and preferences. All the hotels and homestays arranged for us were comfortable, cozy, and well-maintained. What stood out the most was the warmth and hospitality of the hotel and homestay owners. They served hygienic, home-cooked meals and were always willing to prepare food according to our preferences whenever possible. The itinerary was well-organized, allowing us to travel comfortably and enjoy the trip without any hassle. Our driver, who accompanied us throughout the journey, was humble, polite, and caring. By the end of the trip, he felt more like a family member than a driver. We are truly grateful to Ladakh Backpackers for making our Leh–Ladakh vacation so memorable. I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a trip to this beautiful region.

Visited Ladakh in Sep’25 with my wife and took services from Ladakh backpackers. We did Leh- Nubra- Turtuk- Pangong- Tso Moriri. Fida and his team helped us in planning the entire itinerary. The driver allotted to us from Ladakh backpackers was very friendly, knowledgeable and immensely supportive. Fida and his team was available on call throughout the tour for support. I highly recommend services from Ladakh backpackers.

If you’re planning a trip to Leh, look no further than Ladakh Backpackers. From the moment I landed, the team made sure I was well-acclimatized and comfortable. They don’t just offer tours; they offer a real connection to Ladakhi culture. Our driver was a pro on the mountain roads, and the homestays they picked were the highlight of the trip. Truly a 'good one' for anyone wanting an authentic experience. 10/10!

This is a bit of a late review, as my friend and I traveled with Ladakh Backpackers back in May 2025. We’re from Canada and we can confidently say these guys are 100% legit. Fida and Padma were incredibly helpful in getting everything organized, and contacting them via email is recommended since they're very responsive. They met us in person after we arrived and made sure we were set up with a local SIM card so we could stay in touch easily, and helped with the permits. Our driver, Abdul, was very professional and extremely safe and we felt comfortable on the roads. Ladakh Backpackers was also very flexible and allowed us to customize both our tour and accommodations to suit what we wanted, rather than locking us into a fixed package. Ladakh Odyssey is a great place to stay at, if anyone is wondering. Our trip also took place during a somewhat uncertain period, but everything ultimately went smoothly thanks to their support. When our flight to New Delhi was unexpectedly cancelled, they quickly arranged a private driver to take us to Manali so we could catch a bus onward to New Delhi and still make it to our flight. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend them to anyone planning a trip to Ladakh.

Overall, I was happy with the Ladakh Backpackers tour. However, there were some hiccups. I did not get the promised Whatsapp prep message expected 1-2 days prior to the tour and did not get picked from the airport, and calls/messages to the tour operator did not work (Manager got married a day prior!). Had a similar hiccup in being pickup from hotel for the airport for departure. Some of the hotels had design flaws and issues/limitations. The driver Abdul and the vehicle were excellent. Operator paid for my extra night in Leh to make up. Therefore, overall a 4 of 5 star experience.

When my original group canceled the Ladakh trip after flight disruptions, Fida and his team at Ladakh Backpackers took over my request literally from one day to the next. They organized everything — car, driver, guide, accommodation — with excellent conditions, great care, and attention to detail. What makes them truly special is that you can see how much they love Ladakh and how passionately they do everything. Their kindness, flexibility, and professionalism turned what could have been a disappointment into one of the most memorable trips of my life. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to discover Ladakh with people who genuinely care about both their guests and their homeland. #Ladakh #Leh #TravelExperience #LadakhBackpackers #Himalaya #AdventureWithCare
