The hike is perfect for beginners, complete with a hot chocolate break. Yuki supplied trekking shoes and hiking poles for use and he was so much fun to talk with. Along the trail, he cave in the volcanic rock was interesting and there were many photo spots of Mt Fuji, away from the crowds. Adding in a visit to a local temple with 1200 year old trees, and to a tranquil Japanese garden, and a favorite, local udon cafe made for a full and memorable day!

Yuki, was awesome! Extremely knowledgeable, tools us to some pretty sweet spots and views, explained what we were exploring and more. We saw Mt. Fuji from places not crowded by other tourists and had a blast! We ate at a quaint udon shop and it was delicious! May come back and see if you can guide us up Mt. Fuji when the season is open! Definitely recommend!

Yuki picked us up at our hotel near Lake Kawaguchi. Throughout the day, we stopped in many locations to see the wonderful views of Mt Fuji and surrounding nature. We stopped and learnt about the Asama-Jinja Shrine and saw the rare seven sacred 1200 year old cedar trees. Next stop was Lake Saiko with again, beautiful views and a stunning reflection of Mt Fuji in the still water. Yuki then showed us a hidden cave that was created 1200 years ago from the lava of the last eruption. Then came a gentle hike to another stunning view of the Aokigahara Forest, Lake Saiko and Mt Fuji. We stopped for a delicious ramen and finally visited a Japanese garden that is not along the tourist trail. What a lovely day. Yuki is extremely knowledgeable and fun. We saw places that we would not have seen without him. 100% recommend this tour.

Everything about this day trip was perfect. The weather was perfect and Mt Fuji was beautiful and in full view. Our guide, Yuki, was so informative and kind. We enjoyed hot chocolate and green tea at the top! Yuki told us of the history of Mt Fuji, the Fuji goddess, Asama, and how it all changed the culture of the surrounding areas. Then we enjoyed the best udon of our lives, a local restaurant legend. Overall we heavily recommend this tour and Yuki was awesome!

It's hard to believe that anything could have made our trip to Mt. Fuji any better, but Yuki made that possible. From the moment he picked us up at our hotel, he was an excellent host, explaining the area, culture, and environment. The trek held an extremely rewarding view, and lunch was excellent. Thank you, Yuki, for a great day, and will connect with you again when we come back to hike to the top of Mt. Fuji!

Yuki is a real chill dude. He’s fun to talk to and provides a great outdoor experience in the areas around Fuji. Plus he knows where to go for the best Udon noodles ever made.

Our half a day tour with Yuki was among the highlights of our 3 weeks trip to Japan. Yuki is a true nature lover and took us to amazing places we would never get to see otherwise. We visited a Shinto shrine with 1200 year old trees, saw a lava cave and hiked to a viewpoint with breathtaking sights of Mt. Fuji, Jukai forest and the surrounding lakes. Yuki shared his knowledge in fluent English and a lot of kindness. We had an amazing time!
