5.00Had a great day out with Port Douglas Luxe Tours. Picked up from or accommodation in PD and taken to Thala Beach Resort for breakfast. Great view over the forest and Coral Sea with local wildlife. Breakfast and service v.good. Then off to Kapunda to see the top of the Barron Falls. This was spectacular given the recent rainfall. Had a walk around Kapunda Village - full of interesting souvenirs and local artwork. Then boarded the Skyrail cable car at the top and floated down over the rainforest canopy- amazing views! Stoped to get off and view the waterfall and rainforest. At the bottom we were met by our driver for the trip home. The team made it a great experience with lots of information. We learnt about the history, geography, climate and wildlife. The team were very supportive. It is a ‘luxe’ tour, and well worth the time to go. I’d strongly recommend booking Port Douglas Luxe Tours if you are in the area
