Mount Zugspitze - a mountain of superlatives: at 2,962 m, the highest mountain in Germany, whose unique 360° panorama allows for breathtaking views of both the lowlands and the Alpine peaks of four countries.
Fun & action awaits you in the eternal ice on the Zugspitz glacier, while you experience three world sensations on the ride with the new Zugspitz cable car: the highest cable car support + the greatest difference in height + the longest cable span!
The excursion does not have to end with the descent: Your personal, licensed and friendly tour guide will take you in a comfortable VW minivan to other top sights in and around Garmisch-Partenkirchen and explain their historical and current background.

If you would like to spend some time outdoors on the Mount Zugspitze, please remember suitable clothing (between mountain and valley temperature differences of 20 ° C / 68 ° F are not uncommon!). For those who would like to try the sled, we recommend changing clothes.

Zugspitze
Enjoy an unforgettable day and an overwhelming 360° panorama on Germany's highest mountain. Even taking the ultra-modern aerial cable car is a unique experience! Alternatively and/or for the return journey, the cog railway can be taken. The glacier cable car between the mountain station of the cog railway and the summit can be used as often as you like. During the summer months you can borrow (depending on availability) from the restaurant 'Sonnalpin' Rodel ("Zipfelbobs"). There or in Germany's highest beer garden or in one of the other numerous restaurants on the Zugspitze, you can enjoy varied meals for every taste. Prices 2025: Adults: € 75.00 / Teenagers (16 - 18 years): € 60.00 / Children (6 - 15 years): € 37.50 - Discount for families. Reduced prices in winter (December to the end of April)

5.00Stefan and Exclusive Bavaria Tours was beyond excellent. Very compromising and flexible. Amazing wealth of knowledge. Great driver. Extremely organized and punctual. Was willing to work with our family to maximize our day trip experience with him to see as much as possible. Did a similar experience in Bavaria with another private tour company 8 years ago where the tour offerings were organized around the ease and comfort of the tour guide and not the guests. Stefan and this tour company and focus was completely guest-centric and flexible. Stefan leveraged his 28 years as a tour guide to help ensure that everything went without a hitch and that we could pivot if needed. One of the absolute best tour guides who I have encountered in 15 years of touring. You will not be disappointed with Stefan. He is very excited to share his knowledge and pride of Bavaria with you.

5.00Karl was a wonderful tour guide. Very friendly, informative, knowledgeable, and conversational. He provided lovely suggestions during the day including delicious spots to eat and spectacular views. He was communicative regarding meeting times and went out of his way to provide a seamless trip. We went to Zugspitze, rode the cable car, visited Eibsee lake, had lunch, visited the Olympic stadium with ski lift, drove through Oberammergau and stopped for amazing ice cream! I would recommend this trip to anyone interested.

5.00We had a wonderful day with our guide Christian! We learned alot about the sights we were seeing. Christian was flexible to make sure we spent time on the things we wanted to see. He directed us on the best way to experience Zugspitze. Garmisch & Partenkirchen are lovely towns that we got to walk through. We learned the story of Oberammergau and had lunch and some shopping time there. Christian was very efficient and made the most of our time. He also had good recommendations for dinner and sights in Munich. A beautiful day!

From the Zugsptiz, to Schloss Linderhof, to Oberammergau, to Starnberger lake, he patiently and proudly showed us around. If he makes it to the US, I'd gladly show him around. Prost!

5.00Great view in bright sunshine. The gondola ride is not cheap at €64 per person but it is worth it. At the valley station you have the possibility to walk around the Eibsee. Beautiful lake. A circumnavigation takes about 2 hours.
