Our driver will pick you up at hotel lobby. Take about 1.5 hour’s drive from Beijing City to Mutianyu Great Wall and hike on the wall as long as you can. Mutianyu Great Wall is one popular section of the Great Wall but less crowded than other sections, well-known for its beautiful surroundings-the dense woods and rich pastures changing colors with the seasons of the year. After the trip, transfer you back to hotel.

What To Expect
Mutianyu Great Wall
The driver will pick you up at your hotel, it's about one and half hour to drive to Mutianyu Great Wall. The start time is flexible. During the holiday or weekends, it's better to start earlier to avoid the crowds. Upon arrival, your driver will assist with tickets and then leave you to explore independently. Optional extras include a ride to the top of the wall by cable car and a toboggan ride back down (both own expense). Depending on your arrival time, you typically have around three hours at the wall to hike and take photos. After the wall visiting ，the driver will take you back your hotel in Beijing.tour ends.

5.00Peter our driver was wonderful. Drove us directly from our hotel in central Beijing to the Great Wall. Peter’s car was spotless and very roomy for me and my two friends. Water was also provided. He took us directly to the cable car to the top. Peter’s English was great. It took about 1.5 hours each way and we spent about 3 hours on the wall.

5.00Mr wu was an excellent driver who provided a great balance of being there for my questions / taking photos at the wall / pleasant conversation and also, giving me solo time to explore. Especially a great option as a solo female traveler. Super comfortable experience. He also pointed out little local specialities like fresh strawberries and cherries on the roadside and helped me purchase them

5.00Our driver Shane and the whole experience was wonderful! Shane greeted us early at our hotel in central Beijing. His English is excellent and the car was very comfortable. It was about an hour and a half drive with almost no traffic. Definitely recommend starting early (we started at 6:00 a.m.) to avoid crowds...we got there right at opening time and there were hardly any other tourists there but it was getting busier as we exited. There are steep steps and hills with uneven surfaces - it is physically demanding in spots. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes. At the end we had a bit of extra time and we stopped to do a tea tasting. That was a nice experience as well. Overall a great 5 star tour and guide.

5.00Mr. Wu was very lovely and so helpful. He picked us up right on time, which I appreciated since we had selected a 6am pick up! When we got there, he got the tickets for us and showed us where to go. He gave us some useful tips and also took lots of photos for us! I would definitely recommend going as early as you can as it gets very busy further into the day. There were almost no other people when we arrived, but quite long queues when we were leaving. Going with Mr. Wu was also great as we could drive right to the entrance. Other companies went to a big parking lot and then you have to shuttle to the entrance. I didn’t know about this before but was very grateful this was included!

5.00Sam was an excellent courteous driver. Clean smart car. Very good advice for pickup at 6.30 am as it meant we arrived before all the crowds. Be warned that the wall has lots of steps (some very steep!)

5.00Absolutely fantastic experience! My driver, Wang, picked me up at 6am and we drove to the Great Wall. Wang was a safe driver, explained my options for getting to the Wall (highly recommend taking the cable car up and the toboggan down - it was so much fun), made sure I had a chance to grab coffee/breakfast, got my tickets for me, and headed up to the Great Wall before all the crowds. It really was a bucket list experience seeing the Great Wall of China and getting to walking along it. So glad I booked this experience - it was a once in a lifetime. And a special thanks to Wang for all of his help.

5.00Jack was very friendly and on time. His English was very good and he educated us about the wall on the way there. It was very convenient to skip the line for the shuttle. He helped us but tickets for the cable car and met us afterwards when we decided that we were done.

5.00There are not enough stars to rate the experience we has with Mr. Wu- he was friendly, energetic, funny and an all around amazing guide. He took the best care of us from beginning to end ( pick up, tickets, information etc). On top of that - he takes fantastic photos and videos!
