Our driver will pick you up at hotel lobby. Take about 1.5 hour’s drive from Beijing City to Mutianyu Great Wall and hike on the wall as long as you can. Mutianyu Great Wall is one popular section of the Great Wall but less crowded than other sections, well-known for its beautiful surroundings-the dense woods and rich pastures changing colors with the seasons of the year. After the trip, transfer you back to hotel.

What To Expect
Mutianyu Great Wall
The driver will pick you up at your hotel, it's about one and half hour to drive to Mutianyu Great Wall. The start time is flexible. During the holiday or weekends, it's better to start earlier to avoid the crowds. Upon arrival, your driver will assist with tickets and then leave you to explore independently. Optional extras include a ride to the top of the wall by cable car and a toboggan ride back down (both own expense). Depending on your arrival time, you typically have around three hours at the wall to hike and take photos. After the wall visiting ，the driver will take you back your hotel in Beijing.tour ends.

5.00Rose was amazing! Prompt pickup, snacks and water provided. She secured our tickets and took many photos of our trip to the Great Wall. She was super nice and knowledgeable. Will request Rose again for future needs while in Beijing!!!

5.00We had a lovely guide Mr. Guo who helped us with tickets and finding the best route for us. He gave us very useful tips and warned us about parts of the wall that are very steep. He was kind enough to take photos of us. The car was in perfect condition, very clean and it has a charger. Mr. Guo offered us with water bottles and bananas and gifted us with panda figurines as a memento. I would highly recommend this tour and especially Mr. Guo.

5.00Peter was fantastic. He picked us up at our hotel and drove us up to the cable car station. He explained the route we should take and then met us when we finished. His car was really clean and he was a safe driver. He had water for us and even some small snacks and little souvenirs! We’d highly recommend him!

5.00Simply great. From the start the hotel pickup was easy, our driver Mr Guo came into the hotel lobby to greet us. Upon entering the car he offered us bottled water and bananas. There was also a phone charger (much needed on the way home). The driving was safe and smooth, and we got to the wall before the hoards of tourist buses. Mr Guo then continued to help, assisting us to buy cable car tickets, showing us the cleanest bathrooms, and then coming with us to the first section of the wall to take a photo of us. Mr Guo was absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond to make the day special. 5 stars!

5.00Got a 6am ride from Jack who met us in the lobby of our hotel in Beijing. Took the chairlift up and we were the only 2 on the Great Wall! Hung out for around 2 hours then took the toboggan down. Chairlift and toboggan aren’t included, but still pretty cheap. It was a blast! Communication was great from Jenny leading up to departure and Jack took good care of us during the day. Would definitely recommend!

From the start, Melody was extremely informative and made sure we felt comfortable throughout the entire trip. She helped us book all our gondola and toboggan tickets, which saved us so much time and hassle. What really stood out was how accommodating she was to the elderly members of our group. She made sure they were always taken care of, offering extra assistance where needed, without us having to ask. Melody’s kindness and attentiveness really made the experience memorable. The Great Wall at Mutianyu is breathtaking, and having a guide like Melody made it all the more enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Beijing!

He is a very friendly and nice guide to have and he showed me the good spots on the wall and helped with photo so I have some nice memories from the day. Can definitely recommend and it was very comfortable being solo on this trip.
