Overview

Our driver will pick you up at hotel lobby. Take about 1.5 hour’s drive from Beijing City to Mutianyu Great Wall and hike on the wall as long as you can. Mutianyu Great Wall is one popular section of the Great Wall but less crowded than other sections, well-known for its beautiful surroundings-the dense woods and rich pastures changing colors with the seasons of the year. After the trip, transfer you back to hotel.

Jack was wonderful! He picked us up from the hotel and helped us with navigating tickets at the wall. Overall a very smooth and pleasant trip due to Jack’s efforts and instruction.

I had a 13 hour stopover in Beijing so I decided to book this tour and it was the best decision! Peter, my driver, was at the airport on time. He is very friendly and shared a lot of knowledge about the Great Wall during our drive. He was extremely helpful with the admission to the Great Wall, which I really appreciated as it meant I got to maximise my time hiking the wall. Peter was a fantastic driver/guide and made my day so easy for me. Extremely happy I got to see one of the wonders of the world. I would highly recommend booking this tour with Peter if you have a long stopover in Beijing!

Peter was on time for our pick up. We enjoyed learning about the Great Wall and Mutianyu from Peter. He was very patient and very friendly on our entire trip. He made sure we were well looked after. He gave us a lunch recommendation that was amazing! Peter is well versed in northern Chinese culture and gave us such an insights into the northern Chinese lifestyle. We had an amazing time on this day trip!!

We had an excellent time with Jack as our driver. He arrived promptly and brought bananas and bottles of water. His car was clean and comfortable. When we arrived at the Great Wall complex he brought us right up to the entrance, skipping the part where folks have to use shuttle busses. He accompanied us to the starting point explaining our options and making sure we were prepared to begin our journey. Excellent service!
