This tour will take guests through these unique communities in North San Diego County; Solana Beach, Encinitas, Cardiff by-the-Sea and Annie's Canyon Trail. This tour is unique because we will be able to cover nearly 15 miles in 2.5-3 hours on capable and easy-to-use electric bike. All of our bikes have different levels of pedal assist, as well as options for using a throttle.
We have bikes suitable for riders 4'11" and taller, but we also have options for children! We have two (2) Rad Power Radwagon cargo bikes which have seats for up to two children. Additionally, we have child seats for children up to 45 pounds that can be installed on our electric bikes.
Our tour guides have extensive knowledge of local cuisine, beer and wine options, artisans, art galleries, local surf spots, and so much more. If you have something that you are dying to see, do, or learn about while on the tour, please ask us! We love catering our tours to each group.

The hike is moderately rated and all guests should be comfortable going up and down sand covered stairs and uneven terrain.

Annie's Canyon Trail
We will stop at the beautiful Annie's Canyon Trail for a moderate hike, with the option to go through the slot canyon if desired!
Moonlight Beach State Park
Moonlight Beach is the most popular beach in Encinitas with Volelyball, fire pits, and a concession stand for all of your cravings.

5.00This was our first visit to the area. So we were looking to learn about it and to see a lot of the sites. So we signed up for the bike & hike tour for the first day. Our guide was Justin and he was more than excellent. He made sure we were safe on the bikes, he had and shared his deep knowledge of the area, and he made the tour a lot of fun. It was not rushed and very relaxing and interesting. The hike was very unique and beautiful with great views from the top. Overall we could not have been happier. Justin made the whole experience awesome. Just do it!!

5.00My 12 year-old son and I thoroughly enjoyed our e-bike tour of the Solana Beach area and Annie's canyon hike. The Rad bikes were comfortable and easy for both of us to maneuver. Elias was delightful; Full of interesting local and historical information and suggestions on enjoying all town has to offer. We took one of his dining suggestions and weren't disappointed! I would whole-heartedly recommend Elias and Cal Coast Adventures tour.

5.00My 12 year old son and I went on an electric bike/hike trip with Justin in the Sans Diego area. We had the most amazing day! Justin was an incredible guide. He was kind, patient (we were new to electric bikes!), knowledgeable and fun!! This was the highlight of our trip and an amazing way to see this beautiful area. Worth every penny! I will do this again with my daughters next time we come to the area. Thank you so much for a wonderful day!!

5.00What a fun day! Our bike & hike tour was fun and a bit adventurous. We loved the various stops and learning about the city history. Justin was a fantastic host and leader of the ride, giving us visual hand signals all along the way that were easy to see and understand. The hike in Annie's Canyon was as narrow a slot canyon as I've ever been in, and he helped and encouraged me throughout the entire time in those close quarters. I had my doubts at first if I was going to be able to do it, but I managed to keep my head down and plow through. Stunning views once you get to the top!
