We booked the private transfer both to and from the airport and our resort, as well as a driving history tour around the island to key points of historical interest. While this review solely focuses on the transfer (using "Transferz" shuttle service) with Bennett, I do want to quickly shout out to history tour driver, John, a Dutch national who is now retired and a living history book of incredible information on the island and it's incredibly rich history! Now, back to our two transfers - we were so blessed to be assigned to Bennet for both trips and he quite easily navigated the heavy flow of endless traffic, anticipating the ebb and flow, all the while avoiding potholes, moto drivers (who were playing "chicken" as they illegally weaved themselves through the signal-absent and sign-less transit system of roads, while attempting to avoid head-on collisions) and Jaywalking pedestrians. His clearly high experience on those roads placed us at ease while he perfectly navigated and found openings for left turns and traffic circle engagements. All of this while we had great conversation during both transfers, at the start and end of our vacation adventure. Bennett was a very small sampling of the amazingly warm and friendly people we encountered, literally from all over the world. St. Maarten is truly a tiny melting pot, represented by over 120 countries. I look forward to our return on a future vacation and pray that we meet Bennett and many more locals like him!

Clyde was our driver. He was prompt and very helpful. He was also very patient in that one couple in our group their luggage didn’t make it. It came in on the second flight from Charlotte an hour later. So what should have been a quick pick up and delivery wasn’t. Thanks Clyde
