5.00We booked the Paloquemao market tour, and had the pleasure of having Aleja as our guide. It was such a fun experience. Aleja first explained to us the history behind Paloquemao and how it ties to the history of Bogotá and Colombia. Immediately we tried the pan de bono at the front and a few sweet drinks, everything delicious. Then the highlight of the tour: the market itself. We saw a variety of fruits and vegetables like we had never seen in our lives. Each of the vendors are friendly and welcoming, as all Colombians are. After some time walking around, with Aleja handpicking individual items from several stalls, we sat down to try it all. Aleja explained the characteristics of each fruit and vegetable, their medicinal purpose if they had any - which many did! - and how it is used in Colombian cuisine. Every flavour was unique, exotic in some cases to our taste pallet but nonetheless a great experience. Highly recommend Zebra Fisgona tours and the Paloquemao market tour in particular, it’s a must do if you’re spending a few days in Bogotá. Thank you so much Aleja!

We sampled food and fruits from all over Colombia, and met people passionate about the market. I highly recommend this tour and this company to anyone visiting Bogota.

5.00We booked both the Zebra Fisgona Fruit Tour and the Horseback Riding Tour through the Andes, and both experiences completely exceeded our expectations. The fruit tour at Paloquemao Market was an absolute highlight. Our guide was fun, knowledgeable, and passionate about Colombian culture. We got to try a huge variety of exotic fruits (many I had never even seen before)while learning the history and traditions behind them. It was hands on, interactive, and such a delicious way to connect with the city. The horseback riding tour was equally amazing. Riding through the stunning Andes mountains for hours felt like stepping into another world. The horses were well trained and cared for, the views were breathtaking, and our guide made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable the entire time. It was both adventurous and relaxing, the perfect balance. What really stood out across both tours was the hospitality and energy of the Zebra Fisgona team. They clearly love what they do, and it shows in the way they create such authentic, thoughtful, and fun experiences. If you’re visiting Bogotá, I can’t recommend these tours enough. They’re the perfect mix of culture, adventure, and connection. An easy 5 stars!

5.00The best two days in Colombia were spent with Zebra Fisgona tours. On our first day we did the Anti-Tour in Chapinero. It was close to our hotel and let us get familiar with the neighborhood and some secret spots we would have never noticed without guides, Aleja and Vivi. We got to try a cafe, ice cream, fruit salad, arepas, a bookstore, and even did some clothes shopping. We had so much fun. Several days later we did the Paloquemao Fruit Market with Vivi. She walked us all around the market and we tried tons of new fruits and savory snacks as well. A highlight was playing Tejo in La Candelaria. Vivi and Aleja felt like friends at the end of our tours. It’s really a relaxing joy to have a fun local guide you around. 100% recommend.

5.00The Paloquemao Market tour with Aleja was the absolute highlight of our time in Bogotá! We tried 32 (!) fruits that were new to us, several delicious varieties of avocado, and other Colombian delicacies like lechona and avena. Aleja is a fantastic guide —she shares so much interesting information, she is the nicest person and knows the market vendors personally, which allowed us to connect with them too and made the experience even richer. We highly recommend this amazing tour to everyone!

5.00We did the tour with Aleja and had such a blast. She is awesome, knows tons of vendors, and made the tour one of our favorite things. All the fruit was clean and she brought accompaniments to make some of the flavors pop. The tour felt tailored to us and while it is a little more expensive - it is worth it. We had some really great conversations about Colombia. Don't use another tour company - Zebra Fisgona is the best.

5.00Had an amazing time in Colombia for what was my birthday trip. Visited Bogota, Medellin, and Cartagena. Found out about Zebra Fisgona from a vlogging video on YouTube and instantly knew I wanted to tour with them. We booked 2 tours, a fruit tour and a coffee/cacao tour. Juani was our guide for both tours and she was amazing! Her love for her country and hometown, Bogota, was evident as she made our private tours feel like we had know each other for years. We visited an amazing fruit market and several coffee/cacao cafes that only locals know about. If you are looking for great tours and want to avoid the basic boring impersonal overpriced tourist trap tours, look no further than Zebra Fisgona. Highly recommend and would book again. -Haki
