What To Expect

Parque Nacional Soberania

We will go through this jungle, by car and may stop, if an animal is passing by. We do our very best to find monkeys, a sloth, the leaf cutter ants and simply enjoy the magic of the panamanian rainforest.

Worth the private tour. The stated focus was to locate wildlife and WOW! It exceeded my already high expectations. Sorhay spotted several low hanging sloths, a common basilisk (Jesus lizard) and an Agouti, all before we even got to lake Gatun. There we saw a crocodile, many white-faced capuchins, Geoffroy's tamarins and howler monkeys. It was amazing. Sorhay was the ultimate guide with a true passion for nature and was just as excited as we were. She also took us to a local neighborhood for some amazing Panamanian oxtail and visited a great coffee shop. Overall it was an amazing day. I highly recommend this your for people that want to explore nature and authentic culture.

Lilly was an excellent guide and naturalist. Our family had a great time seeing the monkeys, sloths and birds. We also saw an iguana and crocodile. Lilly was able to spot the animal and talk about their habitats. The boat driver was excellent and we travelled in and out of inlets in search of animals. It was beautiful!

Excellent and very personable guide. She started us with a stop for local coffee to start the tour then monkeys, sloths, boat ride on Gatun, stopped at the locks and watched 2 ships pass. Watched the Panama Canal movie at the IMAX at the locks. Highly recommend this tour.

Very knowledgeable and empathetic guide! We were able to see and interact with multiple kinds of monkeys. Our guide knew how to find and attract them in a way superior to any other boat tour around us. She topped the wonderful nature trip off with a few additional culinary stops at the city on our way back, which were wonderful. Her advice for the rest of our trip made it successful, too!

Our guide, Alexis, was incredibly knowledgeable and made the experience very unique. He took us to amazing places where we enjoyed local coffee, experienced wildlife up close, and witnessed the locks in full operation.
