  What an amazing magical day had today with the Snorkel Cook Island crew, Josh, Eli, Charlotte, baby (Bronte?) and mama back at base. From the go, Josh and his team made us feel safe and confident enough to be able to swim out in the passage. He told us everything we would be doing and drew a map in the sand. Once we got out there the team was always surrounding us, so we always felt safe but also giving us the freedom to explore this beautiful area of this beautiful island. Wow is all i can say, this experience is food for the soul, turtles are beautiful creatures and i lost count of how many we saw, truly grateful to have experienced something like this in my lifetime and thats hugely because of Josh and his team making this possible. We have booked back in to do again while we are here. Keep up the good mahi!

  Such an amazing experience! The weather and conditions were near perfect, and the guides were absolutely fantastic ,friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel completely at ease. We saw so many turtles up close, it was truly unforgettable. They also take amazing photos for unforgettable memories. Definitely a must-do experience , highly recommend!

  Brilliant tour - made it so easy and safe to snorkel in a place that I couldn't have gone alone. We got up close with turtles, eagle rays and a huge range of reef fish. An incredible way to experience Rarotonga.

  Such a cool, fun experience! The turtles do come right up to you and the whole crew is constantly looking out for your safety but also creating an enjoyable time. Highly recommend doing this tour, it is something we will be doing again when we come back to Raro

  Loved it. Definitely a highlight of the trip so far. Big T is a great asset to the business, very knowledgeable, great sense of humour. Saw everything the tour promises. No frills, just real people who want to give a great and safe experience. Would do it again

  Loved that I got up close to a turtle. Sad that even though pics were taken, they haven’t been uploaded onto the website - only some taken that day have been uploaded. Suggest you take your own camera. I felt the large group of people - 47 - was too many for the crew of 5 to deal with. The swim out to the turtles was fine but the expectation is to do it fast so if you are a capable swimmer but a bit slow, this may not be the tour for you. The walk back through the dead coral was treacherous. Good things - they provided good quality flippers, snorkel, mask and reef shoes. Toilet facility clean. Cold shower for rinsing after, could provide a more stable board for those having showers to stand on.

  Loved this! The crew were so helpful and very knowledgeable. The water was not as clear as we would have hoped, but we still saw plenty of turtles and fish. Make it a priority on your trip

  Local run snorkelling adventure - experienced crew and they made it lots of fun and really looked after all levels of swimmers. Over an hour on the actual reef after safety briefing and passing the snorkeling ability test. A smaller group would have been better but once everyone spread out in the water there was plenty of room to explore at your own pace Saw beautiful fish, reef and of course… turtles! We appeared to have longer in the water than the other tours on the day which was major bonus

  We were lucky and had incredible weather for our trip with Snorkel Cook Islands, but even when the visibility isn't perfect the incredible team will be able to show you some amazing sites of the Avaavaroa Passage. Big T, Sheeny, Ellie and the rest of the team were awesome to be around, very entertaining and very informative about other must-see attractions on the island. They took their time to take GoPro photos of all the divers in our group, and made us all feel safe and never rushed us. We saw atleast a dozen turtles, along with many other fish and aquatic life. Our "island hour" was perfect, and so was the fresh fruit afterwards. 10/10 Snorkel Cook Islands.
