What To Expect
Deauville
Honfleur attracts tourists with its picturesque streets and narrow multi-colored houses, as if “stuck” on each other. The charm of its paved roads, small shops, hotels, colorful restaurants, combined with a truly rich cultural heritage, will not leave you indifferent. The old tank (Vieux Bassin) with, as if toys, boats and a medieval fortress (Lieutenance) on its shore are the symbols of Honfleur. Being at the crossroads of the ancient trade routes, Honfleur is also the starting point of thematic excursions, such as: the Path of Sidra, the Path of Cheese and the journey to the origins of the Seine “In the footsteps of the Impressionists.”
Rouen
Rouen is the capital of Normandy since 843. This is one of the main French cities in antiquity of historical heritage and the number of historical monuments. The Rouen Cathedral of Notre Dame, the Abbey of Saint-Ouen, the Church of Saint-Macla and the Palace of Justice are prominent representatives of the Norman Gothic style. Joan of Arc was executed in Rouen in 1431. The city has many symbols, monuments and reminders about this event. There is also a large number of luxurious private mansions of the XVI – XIX centuries, testifying to the historical importance and economic well-being of this city. Across Rouen, located on the two banks of the Seine, there are routes of river cruises from Paris to Normandy.

5.00Was picked up at the cruise port terminal by Brice (driver for Marcel Tours) in LeHavre France for a trip to explore Roen, Deauville, and Honfleur. Brice was punctual , responsive and accommodating to places we wanted to see. He kept us on time and back to the cruise ship in plenty of time. We chose Marcel Tours as a day trip on our own and independent of the cruise ship excursions which we find to be crowded and rushed. Keep in mind you are hiring a driver and not a tour guide, so I would research places you want to see and familiarize yourself with the history before you go. Overall, it was a great way to explore picturesque towns in Normandy France.

5.00This tour was great!! The driver waited for us right at the exit of the port, and we had a short walk to the van. The van itself was perfect! It fit our family of 12 perfectly and was comfortable , clean and new. The tour was exactly what we wanted the driver took us to 3 locations Rouen, Deuville and Honfleur. We had free time at each location and he was ready for us when we were ready for the next stop. He provided us with a few lunch recommendations which was very helpful a well!

5.00What an amazing day! Thank you to our driver Albert- he was wonderful. We enjoyed every place he took us. He was friendly and very communicative and efficient. We enjoyed all the sites in Rouen Deauville and Honfleur. All very different and all had wonderful things to offer. History, architecture , shops, restaurants and great views etc. Highly recommend!
