We sail by Fortezza, with its cannon ports still intact to keep the pirates ships out of the bay. So close you can almost touch it! With the view of the Aptera fort, the fort of the Idjedin prison just below it, past the beaches of Kalyves and Almyrides, the isle of Karga we reach for the lighthouse of Drapano.
With the White Mountains as a backdrop and always depended on wind direction we may sail northeast to a very small cove with beautiful sandy waters or we sail northwest around another small island to a beautiful lagoon, we drop anchor where you can swim/snorkel and play in crystal clear turquoise waters. While you swim I prepare you a freshly cooked Cretan/Spartan lunch with Greek specialties, local pasta, sauteed vegetables, fresh salad, mama’s olives, goat cheese, fresh bread, wine/beer/soda/water and finally fresh yogurt with sweet fruit and Greek sweets. You enjoy, eat, relax and then we raise anchor to sail back to port, usually as the sun starts to set in front of us.

What To Expect
Ag'iannis, A remote beach with its picturesque white-washed chapel. Depending on wind direction/strength we stop for 30 min. jump-in swim!

5.00Excellent experience Very nice boat with room for us 6 We even had the opportunity to use the sails Very good food The captain and top And we had a great time in the water, jumping off the boat. 2 stops swimming in a nice corner not crowded. It's not a tourist catch unlike other companies

5.00We had an amazing time sailing with Nikos and Adonis. Great boat and we did some great sailing. Visited lovely swimming spots. Lunch was all fresh local and tasted amazing. Family really enjoy the day and would recommend the trip to anyone who Like the sea, sailing and good food.

5.00This sailing excursion is wonderful and was a highlight of the trip. It is a wonderful ~6 hour experience that wanders out of the Chania port (easy to get a bus from town to the harbor and back). Nikos was very welcoming and professional as the boat captain. If the weather looks poor on a given day, he is happy to move the excursion to another day. The views as you sail around the bay are magical with clear waters and an endless horizon out to sea. It was a bit too cold in the water to swim too much in early May, but I would have not chosen another time as the out of water weather would have been oppressive. Nikos was kind enough to teach us a bit about sailing as well. The lunch that Nikos makes at the mid-point of the voyage is wonderful, including some of the best olives we've ever had. I absolutely recommend this experience as a fun experience for couples or families.

5.00I booked this trip for my husbands and my 10 year wedding anniversary and couldn’t have enjoyed it more! Captain Nikos was an excellent host, tour guide, and chef! We had the chance to open the sails ourself as well as man the wheel. The views from the water were incredible and the history behind where we anchored was so interesting, it was a truly unforgettable day!

5.00Wow, an experience not to be missed!! Well setup operation, beautiful location. Loved the secluded bays and the skipper was so friendly and informative and very experienced. Above and beyond that was the meal prepared for lunch, the best Greek lunch we have ever had. We would definitely love to go again on this boat with this skipper.

The boat was clean and spacious, the food was fresh and delicious, the sights were all spectacular above and below the water, and Nikos was a fun and knowledgeable host. A great balance of cruising time and swimming time. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Crete!

5.00We had a great time with Nikos and Semeli during our private sailing excursion on Crete! They were wonderful from beginning to end! We sailed through Souda Bay and stopped at various swimming spots. Our son and his friend got to help sail the boat and the food was amazing! Crete is best seen by boat! You will not be disappointed!
