Four of us went to visit the salt cathedral and salt mines. The cathedral was beautiful and very well presented. The salt mines were much more interactive and realistic. The guide was knowledgeable and had a great personality. We all enjoyed Juan's company and his explanations along the way. He greeted us with waters and local pastries, i would call a cheese stick but better. Juan's English was clear and easy to understand. He even pointed us in the direction of a local restaurant for lunch. The food was delicious! I recommend anyone visiting Colombia visit the Nemocon Salt Mines and I hope that you all will have Juan as your guide. I myself am looking forward to returning to Colombia soon and will be asking for Juan as a tour guide again.
