Join on us a great hike through the Sonoran Desert! The Gateway loop trail offers a fantastic moderate hiking experience that will get us back into the hills of the McDowell Sonoran Preserve providing great desert views and experience. On our hike, we will see a wide array of desert plants and cactus, sweeping views of the desert and overlook views of the city.
Along the way we generally see lots of desert lizards and birds to add to the great scenery of our hike. This hike is great for the beginning to intermediate hiker and groups of varying capabilities.

5.00My best friend and I signed up for an all day tour to Sedona, that included hiking and the pink jeep tour. Our guide for the day was the amazing Katie. She totally impressed us with her vast knowledge of the area and took complete care of us. Katie was beyond efficient and professional. She has wonderful energy that completely made our trip so so memorable. Thank you so much for everything! You made two New York girls have the best birthday experience ever!!!!

5.00We used Dukout for a hike on a bachelorette party. The hike was amazing. Beautiful views! So happy we decided to go with a guided tour, Katie made the experience so much better. She was knowledgeable about the terrain, plants and wildlife. She was also super friendly and personable and made it so much fun.

5.00Booked a Bachelorette party in Scottsdale for my sister in law with an ACTIVE group of family and friends. Started Day 1 with a guided hike with Katie. Katie felt like she should have been part of the party, not just out guide! She was so knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. I’m telling everyone this was a bougie hike experience!!! Katie was there to remind us to drink water, helped advise on breaks and even went around and cooled us off with water. Go early so you’re out of the sun. Ask for Katie. Do the hike!!! You’ll get incredible photos and a memory to last.

5.00I had a fantastic experience climbing Camelback Mountain with a private guide Sean! I was not expecting the level of intensity and was able to make it to the top with his assistance. Safety was his number one priority! He stopped at various sites to explain the area and get some terrific photos! I also enjoyed learning about the Saguaro Cactus and flora along with environmental information. He shared some recommendations for other activities as well as a great restaurant to celebrate my birthday! It was a very special dinner! Thank you again Sean! I highly recommend Dukout Adventures for an enjoyable and safe experience! I suggest going in the morning as this is a very popular destination.
