From the Port of Picton your local chauffeur/guide will meet you at the Picton Visitors Centre near the vehicle to take you on a scenic journey through to Blenheim and the famous wine region. Savour our local cuisine in a winery garden café or enjoy a wine with a cheese, meat, seafood platter overlooking our stunning Wairau Valley. Later, visit a chocolate boutique.
Ride with peace of mind with flexible drop off to suit your ships scheduled departure.
This tour has been created due to the demand for larger but small personal groups of a maximum of 11. A comfortable 11 seat Mini Tour Van is provided for your pleasure.

Cut off time for booking has been set for 4 hours prior to tour departure. Due to advance bookings being required for additional activities. However booking is flexible up to an hour prior to tour departure.
Minimum drinking age is 18 years
At time of booking, Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time
Your tour guide provides an 11 seat vehicle for these smaller private groups of 7 up to a maximum of 11.
Worry-free Shore Excursion: We will ensure your excursion ends with ample time for you to return to the Picton Port for your ship’s departure. In the extreme unlikely event your ship has departed, we will arrange for transportation to the next port-of-call. If your ship is delayed and you are unable to attend this activity, your money will be refunded. See our terms and conditions for full details.

5.00We had an excellent experience with Pamela. She went out of her way to plan our tour so we could see the most possible in the few hours we had. Always helpful and full of knowledge of the areas, the scenery is beautiful and the vineyards are beautiful. Definitely, a highlight of our trip.

5.00Pamela was a great tour guide. We hired her for our group of 5 to pick us up from our cruise and take us to wineries, a chocolatier, and provide a scenic tour as well. She can customize it to your liking, all we had to do was let her know our wishes. The van was spacious and comfortable and we were happy to not be cramped on a group tour bus. Our first stop was at a chocolatier for samples which were delicious! I wish I had purchased some chocolate to eat with the wine tastings! We then went to 4 different wineries/vineyards and had a wonderful experience with each of them. We enjoyed the education about the land and wine business and New Zealand, in general, that Pamela provided during the commute, as well. We went to a local restaurant for lunch which served fantastic food and were pleased with Pamela's recommendation. We had the opportunity for quite a few scenic photos through the travels and we returned to our drop off point in plenty of time to make it back to the ship. If you have the chance to book a private tour with Pamela while in Picton, it will be worth it!

5.00We recently travelled to Picton on Radiance of the Seas cruise and decided to book a half day Picton and Marlborough region tour with tour company “Your Local Chauffeur”. My parents, husband and myself LOVED it. Paul our guide was lovely and very informative. We had some great Aussie /NZ rivalry and banter along the way. Paul did everything to make our trip enjoyable and even detouring for our group for an amazing photo opportunity. We went to some wineries, chocolate factory and had the best NZ mussels ever! Paul, you are a truly lovely human. Thank you for a great day. Highly recommended.
