Pacio met us 10 minutes early and we had a chat about everything we had already seen while in Porto to give him a plan for us to see as much new sites and areas as possible. Pacio then asked preferences such as beach or city, Porto or Gaia, the tour was tailored to exactly what we wanted and throughout the evening Pacio gave options and choice. Pacio stopped at amazing viewing points for photos and as a bonus he was a very passionate and talented photographer. The price of the tour alone was worth it for the quality and the amount of photos all taken from viewing points only a local would know. This was by far the best experience we had in Porto and we felt Pacio's knowledge of local history and ability to chat and answer questions while the motorcycle was moving enhanced the experience. If you're in Porto for a short period of time this is by far the optimum way to see the most sites while learning about the history with a really friendly very informed guide and also an exhilarating way to travel the small streets of the city. As a bonus we had a meal booked in a resteraunt after the tour and Pacio dropped us to the door, the guy could not have been more helpful, highly recommend.

We enjoyed very much the Sidecar tour and it surpassed our expectations. The Sidecar was spotless. Joao explained to us and showed us like a great Historian. Plus, he is very funny. He very much knows Porto and how to enjoy the time. I highly recommend him.

So fun seeing the highlights of Porto with Joao! We did a quick two hour tour, and Joao did a wonderful job hitting the high points and educating us on the city.

We loved this tour. Our guides were so kind and friendly and it was an excellent way to see the city from different vantage points and to learn snippets of history. A fantastic introduction to Porto and such fun. We were a group of four ladies and we LOVED it. Highly recommend.

This was the most memorable experience of our stay in Porto. We had organised this tour on recommendation of a friend and travel agent in Australia. We met João (John) and Farez at the meeting point, which was conveniently changed to our advantage the day before. We rode to the markets where we walked around and received an insight into the building, history and all the delicacies. We visited St Francis of Assisi church with beautiful blue and white tiles, stopped for a special drink at a local cafe and viewed the Atlantic Ocean from St Catherine church while hearing turkeys gobbling, viewing lemon and peach trees below while sipping champagne. Our tour navigated sunshine and showers but ponchos were provided and the rain did not dampen our experience. We always felt safe and people enjoyed taking photos of us wherever we passed. João conducts a very professional tour and has time to impart his great knowledge of Porto and Portugal with humour and warmth. This is a tour not to be missed.

This was a fantastic tour with a wonderful guide taking us thru the magical, winding, narrow side streets in Porto on both sides of the Douro while telling us all about the city. I loved our stop at Cafe El Rey, a neighborhood bar where our guide João’s grandfather used to visit. We discussed history, Porto, his family, and more over wonderful espresso, pastels de nata and glasses of Favalos while a little rain passed by. We explored Fisherman’s Village and visited several beautiful view points and ended the evening as the sunset, drinking sparkling wine at the Mosteiro Santo Agostinho da Serra do Pilar. It was our last night and this was the perfect way to spend it.

Had a great evening chasing the sunset with Joao! This is a really personalised tour - as we did the trip at the end of our stay and had visited the main sights Joao took us to some places that were a bit more off the beaten track but with stunning views. He’s so so proud of his city and if you aren’t already in love with the place when you start the tour you will be at the end!
