5.00This tour to Mt. Fuji was exceptional! Our tour operator, Zia, was very familiar with the area which allowed for perfect photo ops of Mt. Fuji and the surrounding communities. We explored a Shinto Shrine, a 17th century village, a redwood forest, a beautiful flower garden, and an exhilarating ride in a speedboat on Lake Kawaguchiko. In addition to speaking English and Japanese, Zia said he also speaks Spanish, Portuguese, and at least a few other languages. This could be useful for other international travelers. Viator was easy to book the excursion with and the price was a bit lower than the fee my wife and I have paid in the past for private tours with other vendors. We will definitely treasure the memories made on this specific tour. While visiting Tokyo, I would highly recommend this tour. Be sure to ask for Zia! Richard Rampi (Orlando, Florida)

5.00We had an amazing Mount Fuji tour and it was truly one of the highlights of our Japan trip! Our original booking time was 8:30 AM, but David messaged us earlier and suggested starting at 7:00 AM because these days there is heavy traffic towards Mount Fuji. We trusted his advice, and it really helped us manage our time better. Even today, the traffic was around 2 hours 30 minutes, but everything was still smooth and well planned. David is very kind, professional, and experienced—he handled everything perfectly and made sure we didn’t miss any important spots. We visited all the beautiful locations comfortably without feeling rushed. The lunch was also very delicious and a nice break during the trip. One of the best parts was at Lake Kawaguchi where we did the speed boat ride—it was super fun and an unforgettable experience! David also helped us with photos and guided us properly throughout the tour. His friendly nature made the whole experience even better. Highly recommended! If you’re planning a Mount Fuji tour, definitely go with this service—100% worth it

5.00This was a full day tour to iconic sites around Mt Fuji. I would preface it was during Golden Week. We stopped at the following sites. Chureito Pagoda and its 400 steps. A great way to get your heart pumping at 8 am. Mt Fuji was 50% obscured by cloud. Our next stop was Oshimo Village, a world heritage site. It was very crowded which detracted from its appeal. Lake Karaguchi was next with a ride on a speed boat to Fuji viewing areas. That was very good. The clouds were gone! We the. Had a break for lunch and stopped at a local Japanese restaurant. We then went to an herb garden that had a building with an incredible viewing platform for Mt Fuji. Our driver was English speaking. Abdul was very good. He contacted me the day before and asked if we might consider leaving at 530AM instead of 830. He explained the traffic at 830, especially during Golden Week would be bad and add 2 hours just to get to the 1st point of interest. Since our travel clocks were still adjusting it was ok. We are very glad he asked us to do that. It allowed us more time to enjoy the stops.

5.00Thanks to sallar, our guide, we had an early start and a perfect day visiting mt Fuji. The weather cleared up and we were lucky enough to have the most perfect, clear day. We did a boat ride, explored gardens and ate ice cream. Once in a lifetime.

What made it excellent: Professional & friendly: Our guide was punctual, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about Mt. Fuji. He explained the history, best photo spots, and even helped us take perfect pictures with the mountain. Well-planned itinerary: We hit all the highlights without feeling rushed - Lake Kawaguchi, Chureito Pagoda, Iyashi no sato Nemba village , Herb Garden was super good ice cream in oishi park was so delicious The timing was perfect for clear views of Fuji. Comfortable travel: Clean vehicle, smooth driving, and they managed the crowd well even during peak season. Extra touches: Gave great local food recommendations and shared tips for other Japan spots.
