  Nice way to see Mt. Fuji. My tour guide had suggestions to take a boat ride and also took me to a saki factory to add to the experience. The driver was new so there were a few directional mishaps but he was very polite.

  We had an excellent day, thanks to our guide and driver, Pushkal. He arrived at our hotel promptly at 6:00 AM, which helped us get an early start. Because of this, we reached the pagoda before the crowds and were able to enjoy it peacefully for about an hour and a half. From there, he took us to Lake Kawaguchi and Kitaguchi Shrine. He did a great job explaining Japanese Shinto customs, including where to walk and how to pray, which made the experience much more meaningful. He also doubled as a photographer and took several great pictures for us. Next, we visited Oshino Hakkai village, where he explained the cultural heritage of the area in detail. We spent quite a bit of time shopping for souvenirs here, so I’d recommend allocating extra time for this stop. Finally, he took us to the Hakone Ropeway, which offered stunning views. We also tried the famous black eggs, which are said to increase your lifespan! Overall, it was a wonderful day, made even better by Pushkal’s knowledge, punctuality, and friendly nature.   Bajwa is a professional tour guide who provided a seamless experience in the Mount Fuji area. He helped us avoid peak, crowded areas and offered us excellent suggestions to enrich our day, such as taking the speed boat ride instead of the pirate ship, a traditional Japanese lunch and the most delicious ice cream in the area. We highly recommend Bajwa for your Mount Fuji visit!

  Our Mount Fuji tour with David was truly a wonderful experience! He arrived early for pickup, which showed his professionalism and good time management. We were traveling with a small child, and he thoughtfully arranged a booster seat as requested, which we really appreciated.The tour was very well planned. We started with Chureito Pagoda, where the views were beautiful. Then we visited Oishi Park, where the kids enjoyed ice cream and had a great time. One of the best parts was the speed boat ride at Lake Kawaguchi — it was exciting and gave us a clear, close view of Mount Fuji. After enjoying a delicious lunch, we visited a lovely Herb Garden near Mount Fuji with amazing photo spots. Finally, we explored Oshino Hakkai, a charming traditional village that added a cultural touch to the trip.David is a very kind, friendly, and professional guide. His service was excellent, and he made sure we were comfortable throughout the tour. We really enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend him to anyone planning a Mount Fuji trip! Thank You David Again.

• The worst tour guide ever! Horrible don’t ever take this tour

  Our experience with this tour—and especially with our guide, Maz—was extremely disappointing and frustrating from start to finish. From the very first interaction, Maz was rude and unprofessional. Despite our tour being clearly booked for 8:30 AM, which is exactly when we met him, he immediately insisted that we would need to pay extra because traffic would delay our return. This was never mentioned beforehand and felt completely inappropriate and unjustified. He also repeatedly pressured us to meet at 5:30 AM instead, clearly for his own convenience, without any regard for our schedule or preferences. What made matters worse was his complete lack of engagement and knowledge throughout the tour. He provided little to no explanation about the destinations, offered no meaningful insights, and showed no effort to enhance the experience in any way. We felt like we were simply being driven around without any guidance or value. Ultimately, the situation became so uncomfortable that we chose to cut the tour short just to be done with it. That alone speaks volumes about how poor the experience was. This was, without question, the worst tour guide experience we have ever had. Rude, unprofessional, and lacking even basic knowledge or courtesy. We strongly urge Viator to take this feedback seriously and address it—no customer should have to endure such a disappointing experience.

  We had a wonderful Mount Fuji tour with David! It was truly an amazing experience from start to finish. David’s behavior was very kind and respectful. He was always on time and made sure everything was perfectly organized. The journey was smooth, comfortable, and stress-free. We visited beautiful places including Lake Kawaguchi and the children really enjoyed the speed boat ride moving on to Oishi Park, and the Herb Garden, where we enjoyed stunning views and even had delicious ice cream. Then we went to Oshino Hakkai, which was very peaceful and scenic. We also visited Kitaguchi Shrine, which was a unique and spiritual experience. We had a great lunch as well during the tour. David guided us very well and gave us enough time at each location. Everything was handled very professionally. Highly recommended! Thank you, David, for making our day so special and memorable 😊 for our family and friends travelling with us.

  Puskal was absolutely outstanding. He arrived on time, gave us an incredible Mt. Fuji tour, and was extremely flexible throughout the day. He handled everything—from adjusting plans for a sick child to helping us get coffee and breakfast—with professionalism and care. He explained everything clearly and made the experience seamless on a beautiful day. If you have the chance, definitely ask for Puskal—you won’t be disappointed.

  Abdul is amazing. Knowledgeable, kind, went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing time. He advised that we meet EARLY and we are so grateful for his exceptional guidance. Got out of the city in record time! 😊 Abdul gave us great options and we chose to skip Haneda. because we spent less time in a car driving to another city, we were able to see 4 sights and have lunch at a fantastic Indian restaurant. Make sure you bring a bag for any trash and also some Yen as traveling outside of a major city, a few local shops do not take credit cards.

• Lost on the Gondola.

  There was a mix up with our guide on our pick up point after the gondola ride. He should have taken the ride with us. The temperature was very cold and the gondola was about to close
