We had a great day with Noboku! We enjoyed her information and stories about the area. She easily navigated us when some of the places we visited were crowded, and answered our questions patiently. She also was very helpful not only taking our pictures, but also suggesting some spots to take pictures. She made sure we understood what makes this area so special - even if she wasn’t able to make Mt Fuji appear for us.

This was a fabulous tour! Kiyo was so knowledgeable! She gave a very informative tour. We loved the little extras like the cooling wipes and hydration tablets. This is a must do in Shimizu port!

This tour was perfect and delightful. Each of the stops and sights was lovely. Our guide Hero was very knowledgeable and gave us the history and signify of each stop. We enjoyed the shrine and learning about the history. We were also lucky that the clouds parted just as we got to the observation platform so we could get a view of Mt Fuji. Hero took excellent family pictures for us. We enjoyed the tea house and garden and bought some souvenirs. And then the trip to the pine grove and the beach was absolutely beautiful, with more amazing views of Mt Fuji. We loved everything about it!

The guide and driver were very professional. The guide was very well spoken in English. They got us to the shrine before the rest of the tour groups arrived so we were able to beat the line to the cable car. They also have a large van that seated 8 total and was air conditioned. They always put a stool out for us and later on dropped us off at he shopping center near point. If you’re looking for a more personalized experience and would like to be able to directly interact with the guide, then this tour is for you.

We had a wonderful tour of Shimizu with our guide Miyuki. Miyuki spoke great English and was great with showing us all the interesting sites around Shimizu. Our main goal was to see Mt Fuji but weather did not cooperate very well so our views were not great. Very cloudy and overcast. Miyuki met us directly at the exit from our cruise ship and dropped us off when we were done. Would recommend for anyone wanting to see Mt Fuji or the surrounding areas.
