5.00We had both a driver and a Guid. The car was a large van taxi. Our guide Kiyo was excellent. Her English was very good. She talked to us about Japan, culture and geography between stops. We comfortably saw all 4 places in the itinerary in 4 hours. I would highly recommend this tour. Ask for Kiyo.

5.00Miyuki was fabulous. Very knowledgeable about the entire area and everything we did. Her English was great and was very easy to understand. Had a great sense of humor and was a lot of fun. The tour was great and would definitely recommend Miyuki as your guide.

5.00We had an awesome day in Shimizu! Toshogu Shrine was stunning as was the view of Mt. Fuji from the tea farm and the beach. We were very fortunate to have great weather. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and our driver's skill negotiating tight turns was remarkable. Our group had a great time!

5.00There were several ships town so the main sights were very crowded. Our driver and guide tried to maximize our time together but there was a lot of wait time. Not their fault…they did the best job possible.

5.00Motoko is a nationally certified tour guide. She provides information on an interactive and fun way using flip chart visuals. She showed us the traditional way to honor the shrine and make a wish. She also shared folk tales of the region. Our driver Ted accompanied us throughout the tour, making sure we knew what to do and where to go, and took many pictures of us during the tour. We really felt like we were with friends versus tour guides. My sister in law and her husband have travelled extensively, and they were very impressed with Motoko and Ted. Wish they could do all our tours!!

4.00Very good half day tour. Our guide, Yoko, was very knowledgeable and gave us a good experience. By rope car we visited a beautiful shrine, then to a tea plantation and also to a pine forest on a beach with a view of Mt. Fuji. The only recommendation I would make to the tour company is to provide the guide with a Whisper system and provide all participants with ear phones to hear better. We found that as we were walking to visit these places it was hard to hear the guide unless you were standing right beside her.
