Enjoy Silfra snorkeling with a private guide. Silfra Fissure is 2-4 degrees temperature. Choose between a drysuit or a wetsuit for a Viking experience as we spend about 30 - 40 minutes max in the crystal clear water. A wetsuit allows you to to be more flexible and dive under while a drysuit helps keep you warm as you let the light currently slowly take you down the crack between continents.

All participants must know how to swim and be comfortable in water
All participants must be able to communicate in English
Please note that that dry suits can sometimes feel quite tight and constricting, especially around the neck and wrists
Minimum age is 12 years, please reach out regarding younger participants & Participants over the age of 65 need to get a physicians approval.
Be at minimum 150cm (4’9) tall / maximum 200cm (6’7) tall, and be at minimum 50kg (99 lbs) / maximum 120kg (264 lbs)
Don't wear glasses, instead bring contact lenses or your own prescription mask (if you have one)
Recommended to bring a change of clothes (the drysuit has a very small chance of leaking)
We recommend wearing long thermal underwear and thick wool socks a a base layer under the drysuit
All participants heights, weights and age must be provided to local operator. If you do not provide at time of booking, please contact supplier immediately after booking to provide this information
All participants will need to fill out a medical form before participating in the tour. Please find a link to the medical statement on your ticket voucher right after booking the experience to be sure if you qualify.
Please dress according to weather - no heals or jeans
Note: Each guide can assist one group of up to six participants at a time. Up to three different groups can be present during this activity.

Snorkel in a dry- or wetsuit at one of the top dive sites in the world. Visibility at about 100m in the crystal clear glacial water - between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates.

5.00We booked the 12 o'clock slot and got a small group of three people with our tour guide Ines. The experience takes 3h, of which 30-40 minutes are spent in the water snorkeling between two tectonic plates. After a short introduction and medical questionnaire, you get helped into your dry suit and head to the starting point where you get some quick instructions on how to behave while in the water. The views are breathtaking and you get many photos taken of you. After you get to warm up with a hot drink of choice. This experience is an absolute must do and qas made even better by having our wonderful guide Ines.

5.00An awesome experience with ace tour guide Kaya, who is extremely capable and a lot of fun. We have done a lot of diving, and Silfra is a unique adventure. Highly recommend Adventure Vikings, and Kaya is fantastic.
