Private lessons are a fantastic way to learn at your own pace and make a dramatic improvement in your confidence and skills on the piste. They are a good idea for all levels, from complete beginners who want to progress to blue and red slopes, to those that want to prefect their techniques.
You don't have to learn alone, you can learn with family or friends of a similar level. We can take up to 3 people within a private lesson.

5.00Our family had the most incredible time with Hunters Ski School in Borovets! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless and professional, friendly, and so well-organised. But the highlight of our trip was undoubtedly our ski instructor, Ned. Ned was not only an outstanding instructor but also an amazing person who made learning to ski so much fun. His patience, expertise, and enthusiasm were unmatched, and he had a fantastic way of making everyone feel comfortable on the slopes. What started as a ski lesson quickly turned into a great friendship, we genuinely looked forward to every session with him! My kids absolutely loved every minute, and thanks to Ned’s guidance, they went from complete beginners to confidently skiing on red slopes by the end of the trip. Seeing their progress and confidence grow was just incredible. If you’re looking for top-notch instruction, a friendly atmosphere, and an unforgettable skiing experience, look no further than Hunters Ski School. We can’t recommend them highly enough and will definitely be coming back! Thank you, Ned, and the entire Hunters team, for an unforgettable adventure!

5.00Bobby our ski instructor was amazing with us 3 ladies. We had a great holiday. He took us for lunch each day and we were all very confident by day 3! He is full of banter and we had so much fun with him! Rumen was also great in the ski shop. Helped in every way !

5.00Hunters ski school and ski hire were brilliant from day 1 when 3 of us ladies went to collect our ski hire equipment and meet our instructor Bobby. Bobby is a very experienced instructor, full of laughs and banter, knows his stuff and is very easy going. Thank you Bobby. Also a big thank you to Rumen in the ski shop, giving out equipment. Thanks guys

5.00My daughter had Phil as her instructor. My other daughter had Phil a couple of years ago. I can't recommend Phil enough, he is brilliant with the kids really gets them confident with skiing. An amazing instructor and an amazing guy!

5.00We visited Borovets for the first time as a family and we booked our 6 year old in for ski school lessons with Hunters. We were extremely fortunate for our son to be taught by Phil McFarlane. From only ever putting skis on, on a dry slope he was skiing down from the top of Yastrabets by the end. Most importantly, our son just had the best time in Phil’s company along with the other children in the class. He approached it as a real coach, reassuring and supportive and reinforcing areas to improve all at the same time. Perhaps what stands out with Phil though was the way he communicated with the children and parents. Our son described him as kind and funny (he keeps telling us about his magic tricks!) and genuinely didn’t want to go home at the end of the week. He received a certificate at the end of the week and to sum up Phil he had written words on the back that reminded him of each child. Uniquely, Phil set up a group what’s app with the parents in and would regularly send updates, photos and videos so parents felt involved in ski school whilst we were off enjoying our own skiing. The most instructive thing I could say is that when we book next year, we will be specifically asking for Phil Mcfarlane. Thanks, Phil and thanks, Hunters! 5 ⭐️ s Can’t wait to see next year!

5.00We had a fantastic experience with Phil! As beginners, we were nervous, but his clear instructions and patient approach made learning to ski enjoyable. He was attentive to each of us, helping us build confidence quickly. Everyone in our group was very happy with the lessons. Also,we had great service at the ski center with friendly staff. Highly recommend!

5.00My children spent 6 days in ski school with Phil Mcfarlane. Phil is absolutely fantastic! This was children’s first ever week of skiing. I couldn’t believe the improvement from day to day 6! It was incredible. Phil really got the best out of all of the children he had in his group! He was very encouraging and positive. Queen Ivy and Princess Ivy are really missing Phil and ski school! I highly recommend Phil as an instructor!

5.00We skiied with hunters for the first time this year. The equipment was better quality than we have had before and although the depot can be a little chaotic in the morning the staff were efficient. We had Neil as our instructor, he was brilliant. We had a mixture of all ages and he was really patient and knowledgeable. We had a few teenagers in our group (including ours) he kept it really fun and interesting woth human slalams and backwards skiing. We all learnt loads and improved in our skiing. Cannot recommend Neil enough, we will be booking again. Thank you 😊
