  We had Phil & Danny as our instructors who were both amazingly patient & extremely helpful in making g us feel at ease but also challenging us enough to get the most out of our trip. We learned so much in 3 short days and will definitely be back & would highly recommend both Phil & Danny to anyone who was coming to borovets. They made the trip that much better.   It was the most amazing 3 days. Phil was my instructor and Danni was my boyfriends. Well let me tell you, the patience Phil had was beyond unreal with me. Day one was ok, day two was wild... how he managed to get himself up to come to me on day 3 is amazing to me, but he did and what a day we had. He explains everything so well, he is kind and gentle, he likes a laugh, tells good stories, fills you full of confidence and knows when to not take a soft approach (and when he definitely should). I tested every skill that man had and he still turned up, and taught me to actually ski. I WILL be at the next Olympics... 🤣🤣 Danni had such a laugh with Jon and was always there to give us support. A wonderful, wonderful team and an amazing few days. Thank you Phil for giving me the time and patience I needed.

  We had an absolutely fantastic experience with the ski school, especially our instructor Agni. She was incredibly patient, knowledgeable and made every lesson enjoyable. Over the six days she helped build my confidence massively and explained techniques in a way that was easy to understand. Agni has a great balance of professionalism and fun, and you can really tell she cares about helping her students improve. I would highly recommend both the ski school and Agni to anyone coming to Borovets.

  The skiing lesson with Agnι was wonderful. We enjoyed the mountain and with her guidance as beginners, we felt safe and were able to further develop our skills. I highly recommend her.

  Hunters were excellent for both my kids lessons this year. We looked for a different ski school after a terrible experience last year and were not disappointed. The staff at the depot were organised to get everything sorted on day one, the classes were small (they assured me the ratio would be 1:10 at worst but were actually 2:6 and 1:3 so the kids had really good dedicated instruction and care). The ski instructors were excellent; Phil and Lexie were legends who really looked after the kids and made it fun, can’t rate them highly enough.

  Our 3rd year of skiing in Borovets and using Hunters. This year our children were lucky enough to have Lexie as their teacher and had the best week they’ve ever had! She was amazing at encouraging them and had them zooming down the black runs on day one. My husband and I had Agni and she was brilliant- she was so patient with me as I am a nervous skier but she had us confidently skiing runs I haven’t tried before. She also recommended the best restaurants and came out for dinner in the evening with us too! We can’t wait to go back next year- thank you hunters for another great holiday!

  We just returned from a great ski trip in Borovets. My 2 children (9 and 12) really enjoyed their ski lessons with Hunters Ski school. The instructors were a little mixed (our kids swapped groups a couple of times as they progressed at a faster pace than some of the others in the group). Some of the instructors spoke only basic English and struggled to communicate well with the children whilst others were fantastic. If you manage to get Lexie or Phil that you have hit the jackpot. They were both excellent and really engaged with the children. They were funny, passionate, great skiers / teachers and were always very clear with their communication. They went the extra mile to ensure they had a great time and learnt how to ski with fun (both kids were comfortably doing red runs by the end and it was their fun time skiing). My little girl especially fond of Lexie!

  Phil and Lexi are incredible ski instructors. They went above and beyond giving encouragement and showing good humour with pointed instruction. Kids absolutely loved them both. Phil took care of a friend after a nasty fall requiring medical help and Lexi took all the kids from top to bottom of the mountain in calm ordered way. Both instructors are a credit to Hunters school and a good excuse to visit again next year!!! …especially if Lexi and Phil are part of the team!!
