This is the less travelled tour by tourists in Iceland. This 90- km long peninsula comprises a world of diversity. Friendly towns and villages, spectacular mountains, a multitude of bird species nesting on treacherous cliffs, beaches of sand and pebbles popular among horsemen and rock skimmers, remnants and relics scattered here and there of times and ways of life long past. The Snaefellsjokull National Park is at the westernmost part of the peninsula, including the mystical glacier Snaefellsjokull, as well as other unique sites such as Djupalonssandur, Thufubjarg and more.

What To Expect
Stykkishólmur is located by Breiðafjörður Bay on the north of Snæfellsnes peninsula, and is surrounded by wonderful views of the innumberable islands. One of the defining landmarks in Stykkishólmur are the old houses which reside in the old city center and this is reflected in the atmosphere – it sometimes feels like a place from a different time.

5.00I needed a tranfer from Olafsvik to Reykjavik. Walter got back to me really quickly and we arranged the personal transfer. He was there on time, the whole journey was really easy. He even stopped to takr a few picture. This was the best option for me to get back to the airport and Walter was really felxible. I can fully recommend him if you need any transfers or private tours. He was really nice and everything went perfectly. Thank you Walter!!!

5.00We came with the cCruise ship MS Europa and had only a handful of hours to visit Reykjavik and the nearby region. We have choosen Walter and his nice Van to let him show us (6 Persons) as much as possible. It was amazing. We have seen the Lava and geothermic fields, the Bridge over two continents and of course the Blue lagoon. We ended up for lunch in a georgeous but yet affordable Fish Restaurant near the harbour. all in all it was a never-to-forget experience. Thanks a lot, Walter!
