Tour takes place in two locations - Klis Fortress & Split Old Town. The first location is the Klis fortress. There you will spend an hour with a guide and enjoy an incredible view of the city. After that, return to the old part of Split, where you will visit the substructures of Diocletian's Palace and other filming locations of the series.
This series changed the lives of the citizens of Croatia, especially Split, which before filming was undiscovered by tourists, only to experience an incredible takeoff and transformation of the city center after filming.
You can choose between Private (group of 3 or larger) and Semi - Private (ideal for couples and solo travelers) options.

One of the most fascinating filming locations in Split are the substructures of the Roman palace of Emperor Diocletian.

Natalia had lot of GOT insights that she had shared with us thru out the tour. Good historical experience overall along with GOT thrill. Bruno our driver was great and very accommodating to our needs. Highly recommend this tour.

5.00⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic Tour – Perfect for History Buffs and GoT Fans! My husband and I did a private tour of Split with Mate, and it was incredible. I’m a huge Game of Thrones fan, while my husband isn’t—but Mate struck the perfect balance between fascinating history and fun GoT filming locations. He brought Diocletian’s Palace to life with amazing stories and insights, and even my husband was totally drawn in. The Game of Thrones parts were a dream for me—Mate showed us exactly where key scenes were filmed and shared cool behind-the-scenes facts without ever making it feel gimmicky. Mate was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel personal and engaging. 5.00We had an amazing time touring the Game of Thrones sites in Split with Gita. She was not only very knowledgeable about the history, and the filming, but was actually an extra on the show and had some fun stories! She knew everyone in town and at the sites and really made it feel like a personal tour of her town. We felt very welcome. Even experienced some extras like a sword fight and the Game of Thrones Museum. Cannot recommend it enough!

5.00Highly recommended! Our tour guide was Vjeran (VJ) and he was outstanding, not just with the GOT information but with history as well. We visited Klis Fortress which I also recommend. Everyone in our family including 18 year olds, a 21 year old plus parents loved the tour. VJ even gave us a lunch restaurant recommendation that was off the beaten path, authentic Croatian restaurant that everyone agreed was the best in Split over our 3 days there.
